Nikolas Klauser 59d246e55f [libc++] Remove __deque_base
This patch simplifies the implementation of `deque` by removing the `__deque_base` class which results in a lot less indirections and removes the need for `__base::`.

Konstantin Varlamov 68072a7166 [libc++] P0433R2: test that deduction guides are properly SFINAEd away.
Deduction guides for containers should not participate in overload
resolution when called with certain incorrect types (e.g. when called
with a template argument in place of an `InputIterator` that doesn't
qualify as an input iterator). Similarly, class template argument
deduction should not select `unique_ptr` constructors that take a
a pointer.

The tests try out every possible incorrect parameter (but never more
than one incorrect parameter in the same invocation).

Also add deduction guides to the synopsis for associative and unordered
containers (this was accidentally omitted from [D112510](https://reviews.llvm.org/D112510)).

Arthur O'Dwyer dd15c2723c [libc++] [P1518R2] Better CTAD behavior for containers with allocators.
P1518 does the following in C++23 but we'll just do it in C++17 as well:
- Stop requiring `Alloc` to be an allocator on some container-adaptor deduction guides
- Stop deducing from `Allocator` on some sequence container constructors
- Stop deducing from `Allocator` on some other container constructors (libc++ already did this)

The affected constructors are the "allocator-extended" versions of
constructors where the non-allocator arguments are already sufficient
to deduce the allocator type. For example,

    std::pmr::vector<int> v1;
    std::vector v2(v1, std::pmr::new_delete_resource());
    std::stack s2(v1, std::pmr::new_delete_resource());

Louis Dionne c479e0c994 [libc++] NFC: Fix several GCC warnings in the test suite
- Several -Wshadow warnings
- Several places where we did not initialize our base class explicitly
- Unused variable warnings
- Some tautological comparisons
- Some places where we'd pass null arguments to functions expecting
  non-null (in unevaluated contexts)
- Add a few pragmas to turn off spurious warnings
- Fix warnings about declarations that don't declare anything
- Properly disable deprecation warnings in ext/ tests (the pragmas we
  were using didn't work on GCC)
- Disable include_as_c.sh.cpp because GCC complains about C++ flags
  when compiling as C. I couldn't find a way to fix this one properly,
  so I'm disabling the test. This isn't great, but at least we'll be
  able to enable warnings in the whole test suite with GCC.

Louis Dionne 31cbe0f240 [libc++] Remove the c++98 Lit feature from the test suite
C++98 and C++03 are effectively aliases as far as Clang is concerned.
As such, allowing both std=c++98 and std=c++03 as Lit parameters is
just slightly confusing, but provides no value. It's similar to allowing
both std=c++17 and std=c++1z, which we don't do.

This was discovered because we had an internal bot that ran the test
suite under both c++98 AND c++03 -- one of which is redundant.

JF Bastien 2df59c5068 Support tests in freestanding
Summary:
Freestanding is *weird*. The standard allows it to differ in a bunch of odd
manners from regular C++, and the committee would like to improve that
situation. I'd like to make libc++ behave better with what freestanding should
be, so that it can be a tool we use in improving the standard. To do that we
need to try stuff out, both with "freestanding the language mode" and
"freestanding the library subset".

Let's start with the super basic: run the libc++ tests in freestanding, using
clang as the compiler, and see what works. The easiest hack to do this:

In utils/libcxx/test/config.py add:

  self.cxx.compile_flags += ['-ffreestanding']

Run the tests and they all fail.

Why? Because in freestanding `main` isn't special. This "not special" property
has two effects: main doesn't get mangled, and main isn't allowed to omit its
`return` statement. The first means main gets mangled and the linker can't
create a valid executable for us to test. The second means we spew out warnings
(ew) and the compiler doesn't insert the `return` we omitted, and main just
falls of the end and does whatever undefined behavior (if you're luck, ud2
leading to non-zero return code).

Let's start my work with the basics. This patch changes all libc++ tests to
declare `main` as `int main(int, char**` so it mangles consistently (enabling us
to declare another `extern "C"` main for freestanding which calls the mangled
one), and adds `return 0;` to all places where it was missing. This touches 6124
files, and I apologize.

The former was done with The Magic Of Sed.

The later was done with a (not quite correct but decent) clang tool:

  https://gist.github.com/jfbastien/793819ff360baa845483dde81170feed

This works for most tests, though I did have to adjust a few places when e.g.
the test runs with `-x c`, macros are used for main (such as for the filesystem
tests), etc.

Once this is in we can create a freestanding bot which will prevent further
regressions. After that, we can start the real work of supporting C++
freestanding fairly well in libc++.

Chandler Carruth 57b08b0944 Update more file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepo
to reflect the new license. These used slightly different spellings that
defeated my regular expressions.

We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header
entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the
Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach.

Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM
project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers
include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed
code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of
our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and
repository.

Eric Fiselier 69a4f66114 [libc++] Fix stack_allocator
Summary:
To quote STL the problems with stack allocator are"

>"stack_allocator<T, N> is seriously nonconformant to N4582 17.6.3.5 [allocator.requirements].
> First, it lacks a rebinding constructor. (The nested "struct rebind" isn't sufficient.)
> Second, it lacks templated equality/inequality.
> Third, it completely ignores alignment.
> Finally, and most severely, the Standard forbids its existence. Allocators are forbidden from returning memory "inside themselves". This requirement is implied by the Standard's requirements for rebinding and equality. It's permitted to return memory from a separate buffer object on the stack, though."

This patch attempts to address all of those issues.

First, instead of storing the buffer inside the allocator I've change `stack_allocator` to accept the buffer as an argument.

Second, in order to fix rebinding I changed the parameter list from `<class T, size_t NumElements>` to `<class T, size_t NumBytes>`. This allows allocator rebinding
between types that have different sizes.

Third, I added copy and rebinding constructors and assignment operators.

And finally I fixed the allocation logic to always return properly aligned storage.
