Matt Arsenault 2e0e03c6a0 OpaquePtr: Require byval on x86_intrcc parameter 0
Currently the backend special cases x86_intrcc and treats the first
parameter as byval. Make the IR require byval for this parameter to
remove this special case, and avoid the dependence on the pointee
element type.

Fixes bug 46672.

I'm not sure the IR is enforcing all the calling convention
constraints. clang seems to ignore the attribute for empty parameter
lists, but the IR tolerates it.

Matt Arsenault 06c192d454 OpaquePtr: Bulk update tests to use typed byval
Upgrade of the IR text tests should be the only thing blocking making
typed byval mandatory. Partially done through regex and partially
manual.

sstefan1 fbfb1c7909 [IR] Make nosync, nofree and willreturn default for intrinsics.
D70365 allows us to make attributes default. This is a follow up to
actually make nosync, nofree and willreturn default. The approach we
chose, for now, is to opt-in to default attributes to avoid introducing
problems to target specific intrinsics. Intrinsics with default
attributes can be created using `DefaultAttrsIntrinsic` class.

Matt Arsenault 0a7cd99a70 Reapply "OpaquePtr: Add type to sret attribute"
This reverts commit eb9f7c28e5.

Previously this was incorrectly handling linking of the contained
type, so this merges the fixes from D88973.

Tres Popp eb9f7c28e5 Revert "OpaquePtr: Add type to sret attribute"
This reverts commit 55c4ff91bd.

Issues were introduced as discussed in https://reviews.llvm.org/D88241
where this change made previous bugs in the linker and BitCodeWriter
visible.

Matt Arsenault 55c4ff91bd OpaquePtr: Add type to sret attribute
Make the corresponding change that was made for byval in
b7141207a4. Like byval, this requires a
bulk update of the test IR tests to include the type before this can
be mandatory.

Kevin P. Neal 07f3351284 [strictfp] Replace dangling strictfp attrs with nobuiltin
In preparation for a patch that will enforce new rules for the usage of
the strictfp attribute, this patch introduces auto-upgrade behavior that
will replace the strictfp attribute on callsites with nobuiltin if the
enclosing function declaration doesn't also have the strictfp attribute.

This auto-upgrade isn't being performed on .ll files because that would
prevent us from writing a test for the forthcoming verifier behavior.

Hideto Ueno cc0a4cdc89 [FunctionAttrs] Annotate "willreturn" for intrinsics
Summary:
In D62801, new function attribute `willreturn` was introduced. In short, a function with `willreturn` is guaranteed to come back to the call site(more precise definition is in LangRef).

In this patch, willreturn is annotated for LLVM intrinsics.

Tim Northover b7141207a4 Reapply: IR: add optional type to 'byval' function parameters
When we switch to opaque pointer types we will need some way to describe
how many bytes a 'byval' parameter should occupy on the stack. This adds
a (for now) optional extra type parameter.

If present, the type must match the pointee type of the argument.

The original commit did not remap byval types when linking modules, which broke
LTO. This version fixes that.

Note to front-end maintainers: if this causes test failures, it's probably
because the "byval" attribute is printed after attributes without any parameter
after this change.
