Erich Keane 3ff86f9610 [NFC] Start saving InstantiatedFromDecl in non-template functions
In cases where a non-template function is defined inside a function
template, we don't have information about the original uninstantiated
version.  In the case of concepts instantiation, we will need the
ability to get back to the original template.  This patch splits a piece
of the deferred concepts instantaition patch off to accomplish the
storage of this, with minor runtime overhead, and zero additional
storage.

Chuanqi Xu 9c04851cf5 [C++20] [Module] Support reachable definition initially/partially
This patch introduces a new kind of ModuleOwnershipKind as
ReachableWhenImported. This intended the status for reachable described
at: https://eel.is/c++draft/module.reach#3.

Note that this patch is not intended to support all semantics about
reachable semantics. For example, this patch didn't implement discarded
declarations in GMF. (https://eel.is/c++draft/module.global.frag#3).

Michael Spencer 1694175315 [Clang][Modules] Merge availability attributes on imported decls
Currently we do not in general merge attributes when importing decls from modules. This patch handles availability, but long term we need to properly handle all attributes.

I tried to use Sema::mergeDeclAttributes, but it caused test crashes as I don't think it expects to be called in this context. We really shouldn't have duplicate code for merging attributes long term, but for now this fixes availability. There's already a TODO for this in the declaration of ASTDeclReader::mergeInheritableAttributes.

The patch caused some problems with the libc++ `__range_adaptor_closure`
that I haven't been able to figure out the cause of, so I am reverting
while I figure out whether this is a solvable problem/issue with the
  CFE, or libc++ depending on an older 'incorrect' behavior.

This reverts commit 0c31da4838.

I've solved the issue with the PointerUnion by making the
`FunctionTemplateDecl` pointer be a NamedDecl, that could be a
`FunctionDecl` or `FunctionTemplateDecl` depending.  This is enforced
with an assert.

Volodymyr Sapsai d32c685e10 [modules] Merge equivalent extensions and diagnose ivar redeclarations for extensions loaded from different modules.
Emitting metadata for the same ivar multiple times can lead to
miscompilations. Objective-C runtime adds offsets to calculate ivar
position in memory and presence of duplicate offsets causes wrong final
position thus overwriting unrelated memory.

Such a situation is impossible with modules disabled as clang diagnoses
ivar redeclarations during sema checks after parsing
(`Sema::ActOnFields`). Fix the case with modules enabled by checking
during deserialization if ivar is already declared. We also support
a use case where the same category ends up in multiple modules. We
don't want to treat this case as ivar redeclaration and instead merge
corresponding ivars.

Volodymyr Sapsai 29444f0444 [modules] Merge ObjC interface ivars with anonymous types.
Without the fix ivars with anonymous types can trigger errors like

> error: 'TestClass::structIvar' from module 'Target' is not present in definition of 'TestClass' provided earlier
> [...]
> note: declaration of 'structIvar' does not match

It happens because types of ivars from different modules are considered
to be different. And it is caused by not merging anonymous `TagDecl`
from different modules.

To fix that I've changed `serialization::needsAnonymousDeclarationNumber`
to handle anonymous `TagDecl` inside `ObjCInterfaceDecl`. But that's not
sufficient as C code inside `ObjCInterfaceDecl` doesn't use interface
decl as a decl context but switches to its parent (TranslationUnit in
most cases).  I'm changing that to make `ObjCContainerDecl` the lexical
decl context but keeping the semantic decl context intact.

Test "check-dup-decls-inside-objc.m" doesn't reflect a change in
functionality but captures the existing behavior to prevent regressions.

James Y Knight d614874900 [Clang] Implement __builtin_source_location.
This builtin returns the address of a global instance of the
`std::source_location::__impl` type, which must be defined (with an
appropriate shape) before calling the builtin.

It will be used to implement std::source_location in libc++ in a
future change. The builtin is compatible with GCC's implementation,
and libstdc++'s usage. An intentional divergence is that GCC declares
the builtin's return type to be `const void*` (for
ease-of-implementation reasons), while Clang uses the actual type,
`const std::source_location::__impl*`.

In order to support this new functionality, I've also added a new
'UnnamedGlobalConstantDecl'. This artificial Decl is modeled after
MSGuidDecl, and is used to represent a generic concept of an lvalue
constant with global scope, deduplicated by its value. It's possible
that MSGuidDecl itself, or some of the other similar sorts of things
in Clang might be able to be refactored onto this more-generic
concept, but there's enough special-case weirdness in MSGuidDecl that
I gave up attempting to share code there, at least for now.

Finally, for compatibility with libstdc++'s <source_location> header,
I've added a second exception to the "cannot cast from void* to T* in
constant evaluation" rule. This seems a bit distasteful, but feels
like the best available option.

Corentin Jabot 3784e8ccfb [Clang] Fix Unevaluated Lambdas
Unlike other types, when lambdas are instanciated,
they are recreated from scratch.
When an unevaluated lambdas appear in the type of a function,
parameter it is instanciated in the wrong declaration context,
as parameters are transformed before the function.

To support lambda in function parameters, we try to
compute whether they are dependant without looking at the
declaration context.

This is a short term stopgap solution to avoid clang
iceing. A better fix might be to inject some kind of
transparent declaration with correctly computed dependency
for function parameters, variable templates, etc.

Volodymyr Sapsai fa4a0f1d31 [modules] Add a flag for TagDecl if it was a definition demoted to a declaration.
For redeclaration chains we maintain an invariant of having only a
single definition in the chain. In a single translation unit we make
sure not to create duplicates. But modules are separate translation
units and they can contain definitions for the same symbol
independently. When we load such modules together, we need to demote
duplicate definitions to keep the AST invariants.

Some AST clients are interested in distinguishing
declaration-that-was-demoted-from-definition and
declaration-that-was-never-a-definition. For that purpose introducing
`IsThisDeclarationADemotedDefinition`. No functional change intended.

Chuanqi Xu f85ee6d56a [NFC] [AST] Move isSameEntity into ASTContext
Currently we are trying to implement the semantics of C++ Modules. A big
challenge would be the ODR checking. Previously we did this in
ASTReader, it would handle the cases like:
```
module;
export module a_module;
import another_module; //  check the ODR consistency here
```
or
```
export module m;
import a_module;
import another_module; // check the ODR consistency here
```

However, it wouldn't handle the case:
```
import another_module; // When we check ODR here, everything looks fine.
```

In the case, the read process is ended. But we need to check the ODR
still. To reuse the facility we do in ASTReader, this patch moves the
corresponding codes into ASTContext. This should be good since there
were facilities like `hasSameTemplateName` and `hasSameType`.

Although the patch is a little bit big, all of the change should be
trivial.

Chuanqi Xu e166755a69 [C++20] [Modules] [Concepts] Recognize same concepts more precisely in Serialization
The compiler would judge two concepts is same by their addresses.
However, when we use modules, the addresses wouldn't be the same all the
time since one is parsed in their TU and another is imported in another
TU.
This patch fixes this by using isSameEntity to judge the two concepts.

Volodymyr Sapsai 7ad693a322 [modules] Update visibility for merged ObjCProtocolDecl definitions.
Merge definition visibility the same way we do for other decls. Without
the fix the added test emits `-Wobjc-method-access` as it cannot find a
visible protocol. Make this warning `-Werror` so the test would fail
when protocol visibility regresses.

We keep using the first encountered definition and need to take into
account visibility from subsequent definitions. For example, if the
first definition is hidden and the second is visible, we need to make
the first one visible too.

Volodymyr Sapsai c5931267db [modules] While merging ObjCInterfaceDecl definitions, merge them as decl contexts too.
While working on https://reviews.llvm.org/D110280 I've tried to merge
decl contexts as it seems to be correct and matching our handling of
decl contexts from different modules. It's not required for the fix in
https://reviews.llvm.org/D110280 but it revealed a missing diagnostic,
so separating this change into a separate commit.

Renamed some variables to distinguish diagnostic like "declaration of
'x' does not match" for different cases.

Volodymyr Sapsai 9fad9de5c0 [modules] Fix IRGen assertion on accessing ObjC ivar inside a method.
When have ObjCInterfaceDecl with the same name in 2 different modules,
hitting the assertion

> Assertion failed: (Index < RL->getFieldCount() && "Ivar is not inside record layout!"),
> function lookupFieldBitOffset, file llvm-project/clang/lib/AST/RecordLayoutBuilder.cpp, line 3434.

on accessing an ivar inside a method. The assertion happens because
ivar belongs to one module while its containing interface belongs to
another module and then we fail to find the ivar inside the containing
interface. We already keep a single ObjCInterfaceDecl definition in
redecleration chain and in this case containing interface was correct.
The issue is with ObjCIvarDecl. IVar decl for IRGen is taken from
ObjCIvarRefExpr that is created in `Sema::BuildIvarRefExpr` using ivar
decl returned from `Sema::LookupIvarInObjCMethod`. And ivar lookup
returns a wrong decl because basically we take the first ObjCIvarDecl
found in `ASTReader::FindExternalVisibleDeclsByName` (called by
`DeclContext::lookup`). And in `ASTReader.Lookups` lookup table for a
wrong module comes first because `ASTReader::finishPendingActions`
processes `PendingUpdateRecords` in reverse order and the first
encountered ObjCIvarDecl will end up the last in `ASTReader.Lookups`.

Fix by merging ObjCIvarDecl from different modules correctly and by
using a canonical one in IRGen.

Volodymyr Sapsai 93764ff6e2 [modules] Fix miscompilation when using two RecordDecl definitions with the same name.
When deserializing a RecordDecl we don't enforce that redeclaration
chain contains only a single definition. So if the canonical decl is not
a definition itself, `RecordType::getDecl` can return different objects
before and after an include. It means we can build CGRecordLayout for
one RecordDecl with its set of FieldDecl but try to use it with
FieldDecl belonging to a different RecordDecl. With assertions enabled
it results in

> Assertion failed: (FieldInfo.count(FD) && "Invalid field for record!"),
> function getLLVMFieldNo, file llvm-project/clang/lib/CodeGen/CGRecordLayout.h, line 199.

and with assertions disabled a bunch of fields are treated as their
memory is located at offset 0.

Fix by keeping the first encountered RecordDecl definition and marking
the subsequent ones as non-definitions. Also need to merge FieldDecl
properly, so that `getPrimaryMergedDecl` works correctly and during name
lookup we don't treat fields from same-name RecordDecl as ambiguous.

Nathan Sidwell b2d0c16e91 [clang] p1099 using enum part 2
This implements the 'using enum maybe-qualified-enum-tag ;' part of
1099. It introduces a new 'UsingEnumDecl', subclassed from
'BaseUsingDecl'. Much of the diff is the boilerplate needed to get the
new class set up.

There is one case where we accept ill-formed, but I believe this is
merely an extended case of an existing bug, so consider it
orthogonal. AFAICT in class-scope the c++20 rule is that no 2 using
decls can bring in the same target decl ([namespace.udecl]/8). But we
already accept:

struct A { enum { a }; };
struct B : A { using A::a; };
struct C : B { using A::a;
using B::a; }; // same enumerator

this patch permits mixtures of 'using enum Bob;' and 'using Bob::member;' in the same way.

Erik Pilkington 369c648399 [clang] Implement the using_if_exists attribute
This attribute applies to a using declaration, and permits importing a
declaration without knowing if that declaration exists. This is useful
for libc++ C wrapper headers that re-export declarations in std::, in
cases where the base C library doesn't provide all declarations.

This attribute was proposed in http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/cfe-dev/2020-June/066038.html.

Michael Liao 01bf529db2 Recommit of a2fdf9d4d7.
- The failures are all cc1-based tests due to the missing `-aux-triple` options,
which is always prepared by the driver in CUDA/HIP compilation.
- Add extra check on the missing aux-targetinfo to prevent crashing.

[hip][cuda] Enable extended lambda support on Windows.

- On Windows, extended lambda has extra issues due to the numbering
schemes are different between the host compilation (Microsoft C++ ABI)
and the device compilation (Itanium C++ ABI. Additional device side
lambda number is required per lambda for the host compilation to
correctly mangle the device-side lambda name.
- A hybrid numbering context `MSHIPNumberingContext` is introduced to
number a lambda for both host- and device-compilations.

Andrew Gallagher c6c8d4a13e [modules] Fix crash in call to `FunctionDecl::setPure()`
In some cases, when deserializing a `CXXMethodDecl` of a `CXXSpecializationTemplateDecl`,
the call to `FunctionDecl::setPure()` happens before the `DefinitionData` member has been
populated (which appears to happen lower down in a `mergeRedeclarable` call), causing a
crash (https://reviews.llvm.org/P8228).

This diff fixes this by deferring the `FunctionDecl::setPure()` till after the `DefinitionData` has
been filled in.

Richard Smith ba4768c966 [c++20] For P0732R2 / P1907R1: Basic frontend support for class types as
non-type template parameters.

Create a unique TemplateParamObjectDecl instance for each such value,
representing the globally unique template parameter object to which the
template parameter refers.

No IR generation support yet; that will follow in a separate patch.

Richard Smith 3692d20d2b Refactor tracking of constant initializers for variables.
Instead of framing the interface around whether the variable is an ICE
(which is only interesting in C++98), primarily track whether the
initializer is a constant initializer (which is interesting in all C++
language modes).

No functionality change intended.

Richard Smith 76c0092665 Ensure that checkInitIsICE is called exactly once for every variable
for which it matters.

This is a step towards separating checking for a constant initializer
(in which std::is_constant_evaluated returns true) and any other
evaluation of a variable initializer (in which it returns false).

Aaron Puchert 16975a638d Set InvalidDecl directly when deserializing a Decl
When parsing a C++17 binding declaration, we first create the
BindingDecls in Sema::ActOnDecompositionDeclarator, and then build the
DecompositionDecl in Sema::ActOnVariableDeclarator, so the contained
BindingDecls are never null. But when deserializing, we read the
DecompositionDecl with all properties before filling in the Bindings.
Among other things, reading a declaration reads whether it's invalid,
then calling setInvalidDecl which assumes that all bindings of the
DecompositionDecl are available, but that isn't the case.

Deserialization should just set all properties directly without invoking
subsequent functions, so we just set the flag without using the setter.
