Craig Topper a8822caa1b [RISCV] Temporary in vmsge(u).vx pseudo instructions can't be V0.
This was checked in some asserts, but not enforced by the
instruction matching.

There's still a second bug that we don't check that vt and vd
are different registers, but that will require custom checking.

Craig Topper d61b40ed27 [RISCV] Improve 64-bit integer materialization for some cases.
This adds a new integer materialization strategy mainly targeted
at 64-bit constants like 0xffffffff where there are 32 or more trailing
ones with leading zeros. We can materialize these by using an addi -1
and srli to restore the leading zeros. This matches what gcc does.

I haven't limited to just these cases though. The implementation
here takes the constant, shifts out all the leading zeros and
shifts ones into the LSBs, creates the new sequence, adds an srli,
and checks if this is shorter than our original strategy.

I've separated the recursive portion into a standalone function
so I could append the new strategy outside of the recursion. Since
external users are no longer using the recursive function, I've
cleaned up the external interface to return the sequence instead of
taking a vector by reference.

Hsiangkai Wang a2d19bad07 [RISCV] Use whole register load/store for generic load/store.
In vector v0.10, there are whole vector register load/store
instructions. I suggest to use the whole register load/store
instructions for generic load/store for scalable vector types. It could
save up vset{i}vl{i} for these load/store.

For fractional LMUL, I keep to use vle{eew}.v/vse{eew}.v instructions to
load/store partial vector registers.

MCTargetDesc includes headers from Utils and Utils includes headers

for them to be in the same library. I guess the other option might be to
move the tablegen includes from RISCVMCTargetDesc.h to RISCVBaseInfo.h

Everything else that depends on Utils also depends on MCTargetDesc so

Craig Topper 210bc3dc0e [RISCV] Don't parse 'vmsltu.vi v0, v1, 0' as 'vmsleu.vi v0, v1, -1'
vmsltu.vi v0, v1, 0 is always false there is no unsigned number
less than 0. vmsleu.vi v0, v1, -1 on the other hand is always true
since -1 will be considered unsigned max and all numbers are <=
unsigned max.

A similar problem exists for vmsgeu.vi v0, v1, 0 which is always true,
but becomes vmsgtu.vi v0, v1, -1 which is always false.

To match the GNU assembler we'll emit vmsne.vv and vmseq.vv with
the same register for these cases instead.

I'm using AsmParserOnly pseudo instructions here because we can't
match an explicit immediate in an InstAlias. And we can't use a
AsmOperand for the zero because the output we want doesn't use an
immediate so there's nowhere to name the AsmOperand we want to use.

To keep the implementations similar I'm also handling signed with
pseudo instructions even though they don't have this issue. This
way we can avoid the special renderMethod that decremented by 1 so
the immediate we see for the pseudo instruction in processInstruction
is 0 and not -1. Another option might have been to have a different
simm5_plus1 operand for the unsigned case or just live with the
immediate being pre-decremented. I felt this way was clearer, but I'm
open to other opinions.

Craig Topper 76202f09b5 [RISCV] Improve VMConstraint checking on more unary and nullary instructions.
We weren't consistently marking unary instructions as OneInput
and vid.v is really ZeroInput but we had no way to mark that.

This patch improves this by removing the error prone OneInput constraint.
Instead we just always look for the mask in the last operand.

It appears that the "CheckReg" variable used for the check on the broken
instruction was unitialized or garbage because it was also used for
VS1/VS2 constraints. I've scoped the variable locally to each check now.

I've gone through and set NoConstraint on instructions that don't have
a real VMConstraint and don't have a mask as the last operand.

I've also removed the unused enum values in RISCVBaseInfo.h. We
never use them in C++ and we have separate versions in a td file.

This moves the vtype decoding and printing to RISCVBaseInfo. This keeps all of
the decoding code in the same area as the encoding code. This will make it
easier to change the decoding for the 1.0 spec in the future.

We're now sharing the printing with the debug output for operands in the
assembler. This also fixes that debug output to include the tail and mask
agnostic bits. Since the printing code works on the vtype immediate value, we
now encode the immediate during parsing and store just the immediate in the
operand.

Sam Elliott 12406ade06 [RISCV] Add (Proposed) Assembler Extend Pseudo-Instructions
There is an in-progress proposal for the following pseudo-instructions
in the assembler, to complement the existing `sext.w` rv64i instruction:
- sext.b
- sext.h
- zext.b
- zext.h
- zext.w

The `.b` and `.h` variants are available with rv32i and rv64i, and `zext.w` is
only available with `rv64i`.

These are implemented primarily as pseudo-instructions, as these instructions
expand to multiple real instructions. In the case of `zext.b`, this expands to a
single rv32/64i instruction, so it is implemented with an InstAlias (like
`sext.w` is on rv64i).

Tom Stellard 0dbcb36394 CMake: Make most target symbols hidden by default
Summary:
For builds with LLVM_BUILD_LLVM_DYLIB=ON and BUILD_SHARED_LIBS=OFF
this change makes all symbols in the target specific libraries hidden
by default.

A new macro called LLVM_EXTERNAL_VISIBILITY has been added to mark symbols in these
libraries public, which is mainly needed for the definitions of the

This patch reduces the number of public symbols in libLLVM.so by about
25%. This should improve load times for the dynamic library and also
make abi checker tools, like abidiff require less memory when analyzing
libLLVM.so

One side-effect of this change is that for builds with
LLVM_BUILD_LLVM_DYLIB=ON and LLVM_LINK_LLVM_DYLIB=ON some unittests that
access symbols that are no longer public will need to be statically linked.

Sam Elliott f596f45070 [RISCV] Add Custom Parser for Atomic Memory Operands
Summary:
GCC Accepts both (reg) and 0(reg) for atomic instruction memory
operands. These instructions do not allow for an offset in their
encoding, so in the latter case, the 0 is silently dropped.

Due to how we have structured the RISCVAsmParser, the easiest way to add
support for parsing this offset is to add a custom AsmOperand and
parser. This parser drops all the parens, and just keeps the register.

This commit also adds a custom printer for these operands, which matches
the GCC canonical printer, printing both `(a0)` and `0(a0)` as `(a0)`.

Tom Stellard 374571301d CMake: Make most target symbols hidden by default
Summary:

this change makes all symbols in the target specific libraries hidden
by default.

A new macro called LLVM_EXTERNAL_VISIBILITY has been added to mark symbols in these
libraries public, which is mainly needed for the definitions of the
LLVMInitialize* functions.

Roger Ferrer Ibanez b621f04135 [RISCV] Diagnose invalid second input register operand when using %tprel_add
RISCVMCCodeEmitter::expandAddTPRel asserts that the second operand must be
x4/tp. As we are not currently checking this in the RISCVAsmParser, the assert
is easy to trigger due to wrong assembly input.

This patch does a late check of this constraint.

An alternative could be using a singleton register class for x4/tp similar to
the current one for sp. Unfortunately it does not result in a good diagnostic.
Because add is an overloaded mnemonic, if no matching is possible, the
diagnostic of the first failing alternative seems to be used as the diagnostic
itself. This means that this case the %tprel_add is diagnosed as an invalid
operand (because the real add instruction only has 3 operands).

Alex Bradbury 22c091fc3c [RISCV] Introduce the RISCVMatInt::generateInstSeq helper
Logic to load 32-bit and 64-bit immediates is currently present in
RISCVAsmParser::emitLoadImm in order to support the li pseudoinstruction. With
the introduction of RV64 codegen, there is a greater benefit of sharing
immediate materialisation logic between the MC layer and codegen. The
generateInstSeq helper allows this by producing a vector of simple structs
representing the chosen instructions. This can then be consumed in the MC
layer to produce MCInsts or at instruction selection time to produce
appropriate SelectionDAG node. Sharing this logic means that both the li
pseudoinstruction and codegen can benefit from future optimisations, and
that this logic can be used for materialising constants during RV64 codegen.

This patch does contain a behaviour change: addi will now be produced on RV64
when no lui is necessary to materialise the constant. In that case addiw takes
x0 as the source register, so is semantically identical to addi.

This extends the .option support from D45864 to enable/disable the relax
feature flag from D44886

During parsing of the relax/norelax directives, the RISCV::FeatureRelax
feature bits of the SubtargetInfo stored in the AsmParser are updated
appropriately to reflect whether relaxation is currently enabled in the
parser. When an instruction is parsed, the parser checks if relaxation is
currently enabled and if so, gets a handle to the AsmBackend and sets the
ForceRelocs flag. The AsmBackend uses a combination of the original
RISCV::FeatureRelax feature bits set by e.g -mattr=+/-relax and the
ForceRelocs flag to determine whether to emit relocations for symbol and
branch diffs. Diff relocations should therefore only not be emitted if the
relax flag was not set on the command line and no instruction was ever parsed
in a section with relaxation enabled to ensure correct diffs are emitted.

Roger Ferrer Ibanez c8f4dbbc63 [RISCV] Fix incorrect use of MCInstBuilder
This is a fix for r339314.

MCInstBuilder uses the named parameter idiom and an 'operator MCInst&' to ease
the creation of MCInsts. As the object of MCInstBuilder owns the MCInst is
manipulating, the lifetime of the MCInst is bound to that of MCInstBuilder.

In r339314 I bound a reference to the MCInst in an initializer. The
temporary of MCInstBuilder (and also its MCInst) is destroyed at the end of
the declaration leading to a dangling reference.

Fix this by using MCInstBuilder inside an argument of a function call.
Temporaries in function calls are destroyed in the enclosing full expression,
so the the reference to MCInst is still valid when emitToStreamer executes.

Roger Ferrer Ibanez 577a97e2b9 [RISCV] Add "lla" pseudo-instruction to assembler
This pseudo-instruction is similar to la but uses PC-relative addressing
unconditionally. This is, la is only different to lla when using -fPIC. This
pseudo-instruction seems often forgotten in several specs but it is definitely
mentioned in binutils opcodes/riscv-opc.c. The semantics are defined both in
page 37 of the "RISC-V Reader" book but also in function macro found in
gas/config/tc-riscv.c.

This is a very first step towards adding PIC support for Linux in the RISC-V
backend.

The lla pseudo-instruction expands to a sequence of auipc + addi with a couple
of pc-rel relocations where the second points to the first one. This is
described in
https://github.com/riscv/riscv-elf-psabi-doc/blob/master/riscv-elf.md#pc-relative-symbol-addresses

For now, this patch only introduces support of that pseudo instruction at the
assembler parser.
