DIFlagBlockByRefStruct is an unused DIFlag that originally was used by
clang to express (Objective-)C block captures in debug info. For the
last year Clang has been emitting complex DIExpressions to describe
block captures instead, which makes all the code supporting this flag
redundant.
This patch removes the flag and all supporting "dead" code, so we can
reuse the bit for something else in the future.
Since this only affects debug info generated by Clang with the block
extension this mostly affects Apple platforms and I don't have any
bitcode compatibility concerns for removing this. The Verifier will
reject debug info that uses the bit and thus degrade gracefully when
LTO'ing older bitcode with a newer compiler.

https://reviews.llvm.org/D60481 get/set debug location on a Value
https://reviews.llvm.org/D60489 (DIScope)
The API as proposed in this patch is similar to the current Value API,
with a single root type and methods that are only valid for certain
subclasses. I have considered just implementing generic Line() calls
(that are valid on all DINodes that have a line) but the implementation
of that got a bit awkward without support from the C API. I've also
considered creating generic getters like a Metadata.DebugLoc() that
returns a DebugLoc, but there is a mismatch between the Go DI nodes in
the LLVM API and the actual DINode class hierarchy, so that's also hard
to get right (without being confusing or breaking the API).

This is the second attempt to port ASan to new PM after D52739. This takes the
initialization requried by ASan from the Module by moving it into a separate
class with it's own analysis that the new PM ASan can use.
Changes:
- Split AddressSanitizer into 2 passes: 1 for the instrumentation on the
function, and 1 for the pass itself which creates an instance of the first
during it's run. The same is done for AddressSanitizerModule.
- Add new PM AddressSanitizer and AddressSanitizerModule.
- Add legacy and new PM analyses for reading data needed to initialize ASan with.
- Removed DominatorTree dependency from ASan since it was unused.
- Move GlobalsMetadata and ShadowMapping out of anonymous namespace since the
new PM analysis holds these 2 classes and will need to expose them.

Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM

allows hooking into the insertion to be able to append them to the

declare the init function at the first access, and add that to the global ctors

Changes:
- Pull the actual sanitizer and the wrapper pass apart.
- Add a newpm msan pass. The function pass inserts calls to runtime
library functions, for which it inserts declarations as necessary.
- Update tests.

- There is one test that I dropped, because it specifically tested the

X86 Supports Indirect Branch Tracking (IBT) as part of Control-Flow Enforcement Technology (CET).
IBT instruments ENDBR instructions used to specify valid targets of indirect call / jmp.
The `nocf_check` attribute has two roles in the context of X86 IBT technology:
1. Appertains to a function - do not add ENDBR instruction at the beginning of the function.
2. Appertains to a function pointer - do not track the target function of this pointer by adding nocf_check prefix to the indirect-call instruction.
This patch implements `nocf_check` context for Indirect Branch Tracking.
It also auto generates `nocf_check` prefixes before indirect branchs to jump tables that are guarded by range checks.

By this change, building a Go code with LLVM Go bindings causes a compilation error as follows.
go build llvm.org/llvm/bindings/go/llvm: invalid flag in #cgo LDFLAGS: -Wl,-headerpad_max_install_names
llvm-go tool generates cgo LDFLAGS directive from `llvm-config --ldflags` and it contains -Wl,option options. But -Wl,option is banned by default. To avoid this problem, we need to set $CGO_LDFLAGS_ALLOW environment variable to notify a compiler that the flags should be allowed.
$ export CGO_LDFLAGS_ALLOW='-Wl,(-search_paths_first|-headerpad_max_install_names)'
By default for go 1.10 and go 1.9.5 these options should appear in the accepted set of options, however, if you're running into the error it's useful to have this documented.

Previously, subprograms contained a metadata reference to the function they
described. Because most clients need to get or set a subprogram for a given
function rather than the other way around, this created unneeded inefficiency.
For example, many passes needed to call the function llvm::makeSubprogramMap()
to build a mapping from functions to subprograms, and the IR linker needed to
fix up function references in a way that caused quadratic complexity in the IR
linking phase of LTO.
This change reverses the direction of the edge by storing the subprogram as
function-level metadata and removing DISubprogram's function field.
Since this is an IR change, a bitcode upgrade has been provided.

Finish off PR23080 by renaming the debug info IR constructs from `MD*`
to `DI*`. The last of the `DIDescriptor` classes were deleted in
r235356, and the last of the related typedefs removed in r235413, so
this has all baked for about a week.
Note: If you have out-of-tree code (like a frontend), I recommend that
you get everything compiling and tests passing with the *previous*
commit before updating to this one. It'll be easier to keep track of
what code is using the `DIDescriptor` hierarchy and what you've already
updated, and I think you're extremely unlikely to insert bugs. YMMV of
course.
Back to *this* commit: I did this using the rename-md-di-nodes.sh
upgrade script I've attached to PR23080 (both code and testcases) and
filtered through clang-format-diff.py. I edited the tests for
test/Assembler/invalid-generic-debug-node-*.ll by hand since the columns
were off-by-three. It should work on your out-of-tree testcases (and
code, if you've followed the advice in the previous paragraph).
Some of the tests are in badly named files now (e.g.,
test/Assembler/invalid-mdcompositetype-missing-tag.ll should be
'dicompositetype'); I'll come back and move the files in a follow-up
commit.

Remove the `DIArray` and `DITypeArray` typedefs, preferring the
underlying types (`DebugNodeArray` and `MDTypeRefArray`, respectively).
llvm-svn: 235413
Delete subclasses of (the already deleted) `DIType` in favour of
directly using pointers from the `Metadata` hierarchy.
While `DICompositeType` wraps `MDCompositeTypeBase` and `DIDerivedType`
wraps `MDDerivedTypeBase`, most uses of each really meant the more
specific `MDCompositeType` and `MDDerivedType`.
llvm-svn: 235351
As a step toward killing `DIDescriptor` and its subclasses, remove it
from the `DIBuilder` API. Replace the subclasses with appropriate
pointers from the new debug info hierarchy. There are a couple of
possible surprises in type choices for out-of-tree frontends:
- Subroutine types: `MDSubroutineType`, not `MDCompositeTypeBase`.
- Composite types: `MDCompositeType`, not `MDCompositeTypeBase`.
- Scopes: `MDScope`, not `MDNode`.
- Generic debug info nodes: `DebugNode`, not `MDNode`.
This is part of PR23080.
llvm-svn: 235111
Change `DIBuilder::insertDeclare()` and `insertDbgValueIntrinsic()` to
take an `MDLocation*`/`DebugLoc` parameter which it attaches to the
created intrinsic. Assert at creation time that the `scope:` field's
subprogram matches the variable's. There's a matching `clang` commit to
use the API.
The context for this is PR22778, which is removing the `inlinedAt:`
field from `MDLocalVariable`, instead deferring to the `!dbg` location
attached to the debug info intrinsic. The best way to ensure we always
have a `!dbg` attachment is to require one at creation time. I'll be
adding verifier checks next, but this API change is the best way to
shake out frontend bugs.
Note: I added an `llvm_unreachable()` in `bindings/go` and passed in
`nullptr` for the `DebugLoc`. The `llgo` folks will eventually need to
pass a valid `DebugLoc` here.
llvm-svn: 235041
r234262 changed some code in DIBuilderBindings.cpp to use the unwrap function
to unwrap debug metadata. The problem with this is that unwrap asserts that

arguments optional by adding null checks in places where it is required,
fixing the llgo build.
