Matt Arsenault ff987ac6ea AMDGPU: Fix not preserving alignent in call setups
If an argument was passed on the stack, this
was using the default alignment.

I'm not sure there's an observable change from this. This
was observable due to bugs in expansion of unaligned
loads and stores, but since that is fixed I don't think
this matters much.

Tim Renouf 904343f879 [AMDGPU] Add support for multi-dword s.buffer.load intrinsic
Summary:
Patch by Marek Olsak and David Stuttard, both of AMD.

This adds a new amdgcn intrinsic supporting s.buffer.load, in particular
multiple dword variants. These are convenient to use from some front-end
implementations.

Also modified the existing llvm.SI.load.const intrinsic to common up the
underlying implementation.

This modification also requires that we can lower to non-uniform loads correctly
by splitting larger dword variants into sizes supported by the non-uniform
versions of the load.

V2: Addressed minor review comments.
V3: i1 glc is now i32 cachepolicy for consistency with buffer and
tbuffer intrinsics, plus fixed formatting issue.
V4: Added glc test.

This commit adds new intrinsics
  llvm.amdgcn.raw.tbuffer.load

  llvm.amdgcn.struct.tbuffer.store

with the following changes from the llvm.amdgcn.tbuffer.* intrinsics:

* there are separate raw and struct versions: raw does not have an index
arg and sets idxen=0 in the instruction, and struct always sets
idxen=1 in the instruction even if the index is 0, to allow for the

The AMDISD::TBUFFER_* SD nodes always have an index operand, all three

Chandler Carruth c73c0307fe [MI] Change the array of `MachineMemOperand` pointers to be
a generically extensible collection of extra info attached to
a `MachineInstr`.

The primary change here is cleaning up the APIs used for setting and
manipulating the `MachineMemOperand` pointer arrays so chat we can
change how they are allocated.

Then we introduce an extra info object that using the trailing object
pattern to attach some number of MMOs but also other extra info. The
design of this is specifically so that this extra info has a fixed
necessary cost (the header tracking what extra info is included) and
everything else can be tail allocated. This pattern works especially
well with a `BumpPtrAllocator` which we use here.

I've also added the basic scaffolding for putting interesting pointers
into this, namely pre- and post-instruction symbols. These aren't used
anywhere yet, they're just there to ensure I've actually gotten the data
structure types correct. I'll flesh out support for these in
a subsequent patch (MIR dumping, parsing, the works).

Finally, I've included an optimization where we store any single pointer
inline in the `MachineInstr` to avoid the allocation overhead. This is
expected to be the overwhelmingly most common case and so should avoid
any memory usage growth due to slightly less clever / dense allocation
when dealing with >1 MMO. This did require several ergonomic
improvements to the `PointerSumType` to reasonably support the various
usage models.

This also has a side effect of freeing up 8 bits within the
`MachineInstr` which could be repurposed for something else.

The suggested direction here came largely from Hal Finkel. I hope it was
worth it. ;] It does hopefully clear a path for subsequent extensions
w/o nearly as much leg work. Lots of thanks to Reid and Justin for
careful reviews and ideas about how to do all of this.

Chandler Carruth 66654b72c9 [SDAG] Remove the reliance on MI's allocation strategy for
`MachineMemOperand` pointers attached to `MachineSDNodes` and instead
have the `SelectionDAG` fully manage the memory for this array.

Prior to this change, the memory management was deeply confusing here --
The way the MI was built relied on the `SelectionDAG` allocating memory
for these arrays of pointers using the `MachineFunction`'s allocator so
that the raw pointer to the array could be blindly copied into an
eventual `MachineInstr`. This creates a hard coupling between how
`MachineInstr`s allocate their array of `MachineMemOperand` pointers and
how the `MachineSDNode` does.

This change is motivated in large part by a change I am making to how
`MachineFunction` allocates these pointers, but it seems like a layering
improvement as well.

This would run the risk of increasing allocations overall, but I've
implemented an optimization that should avoid that by storing a single
`MachineMemOperand` pointer directly instead of allocating anything.
This is expected to be a net win because the vast majority of uses of
these only need a single pointer.

As a side-effect, this makes the API for updating a `MachineSDNode` and
a `MachineInstr` reasonably different which seems nice to avoid
unexpected coupling of these two layers. We can map between them, but we
shouldn't be *surprised* at where that occurs. =]

When lowering calling conventions, prefer to decompose vectors
into the constitute register types. This avoids artifical constraints
to satisfy a wide super-register.

This improves code quality because now optimizations don't need to
deal with the super-register constraint. For example the immediate
folding code doesn't deal with 4 component reg_sequences, so by
breaking the register down earlier the existing immediate folding
code is able to work.

This also avoids the need for the shader input processing code

This was completely broken if there was ever a struct argument, as

The offsets as passed in to LowerFormalArguments are not useful,
as they partially depend on the legalized result register type,
and they don't consider the alignment in the first place.

Ignore the Ins array, and instead figure out from the raw IR type

if the DAG lowering is forced (and stops breaking arguments

Nicolai Haehnle 7a9c03f484 AMDGPU: Select MIMG instructions manually in SITargetLowering
Summary:
Having TableGen patterns for image intrinsics is hitting limitations:
for D16 we already have to manually pre-lower the packing of data
values, and we will have to do the same for A16 eventually.

Since there is already some custom C++ code anyway, it is arguably easier
to just do everything in C++, now that we can use the beefed-up generic
tables backend of TableGen to provide all the required metadata and map
intrinsics to corresponding opcodes. With this approach, all image
intrinsic lowering happens in SITargetLowering::lowerImage. That code is
dense due to all the cases that it handles, but it should still be easier
to follow than what we had before, by virtue of it all being done in a
single location, and by virtue of not relying on the TableGen pattern
magic that very few people really understand.

This means that we will have MachineSDNodes with MIMG instructions
during DAG combining, but that seems alright: previously we had
intrinsic nodes instead, but those are similarly opaque to the generic
CodeGen infrastructure, and the final pattern matching just did a 1:1
translation to machine instructions anyway. If anything, the fact that
we now merge the address words into a vector before DAG combine should
be an advantage.

Nicolai Haehnle f267431901 AMDGPU: Turn D16 for MIMG instructions into a regular operand
Summary:
This allows us to reduce the number of different machine instruction
opcodes, which reduces the table sizes and helps flatten the TableGen
multiclass hierarchies.

We can do this because for each hardware MIMG opcode, we have a full set
of IMAGE_xxx_Vn_Vm machine instructions for all required sizes of vdata
and vaddr registers. Instead of having separate D16 machine instructions,
a packed D16 instructions loading e.g. 4 components can simply use the
same V2 opcode variant that non-D16 instructions use.

We still require a TSFlag for D16 buffer instructions, because the
D16-ness of buffer instructions is part of the opcode. Renaming the flag
should help avoid future confusion.

The one non-obvious code change is that for gather4 instructions, the
disassembler can no longer automatically decide whether to use a V2 or
a V4 variant. The existing logic which choose the correct variant for
other MIMG instruction is extended to cover gather4 as well.

As a bonus, some of the assembler error messages are now more helpful
(e.g., complaining about a wrong data size instead of a non-existing
instruction).

While we're at it, delete a whole bunch of dead legacy TableGen code.

Matt Arsenault 90083d3088 AMDGPU: Try a lot harder to emit scalar loads
This has two main components. First, widen
widen short constant loads in DAG when they have
the correct alignment. This is already done a bit in
AMDGPUCodeGenPrepare, since that has access to
DivergenceAnalysis. This can't help kernarg loads
created in the DAG. Start to use DAG divergence analysis
to help this case.

The second part is to avoid kernel argument lowering
breaking the alignment of short vector elements because
calling convention lowering wants to split everything
into legal register types.

When loading a split type, load the nearest 4-byte aligned
segment and shift to get the desired bits. This extra
load of the earlier argument piece ends up merging,
and the bit extract hopefully folds out.

There are a number of improvements and regressions with
this, but I think as-is this is a better compromise between
several of the worst parts of SelectionDAG.

Particularly when i16 is legal, this produces worse code
for i8 and i16 element vector kernel arguments. This is
partially due to the very weak load merging the DAG does.
It only looks for fairly specific combines between pairs
of loads which no longer appear. In particular this
causes v4i16 loads to be split into 2 components when
previously the two halves were merged.

Worse, because of the newly introduced shifts, there
is a lot more unnecessary vector packing and unpacking code
emitted. At least some of this is due to reporting
false for isTypeDesirableForOp for i16 as a workaround for
the lack of divergence information in the DAG. The cases
where this happens it doesn't actually matter, but the
relevant code in SimplifyDemandedBits doens't have the context
to know to ignore this.

The use of the scalar cache is probably more important
than the mess of mostly scalar instructions doing this packing
and unpacking. Future work can fix this, possibly by making better
use of the new DAG divergence information for controlling promotion
decisions, or adding another version of shift + trunc + shift
combines that doesn't only know about the used types.

Stanislav Mekhanoshin d4b500cb08 [AMDGPU] Track occupancy in MFI
Keep track of achieved occupancy in SIMachineFunctionInfo.
At the moment we have a lot of duplicated or even missed code to
query and maintain occupancy info. Record it in the MFI and
query in a single call. Interfaces:

- getOccupancy() - returns current recorded achieved occupancy.
- getMinAllowedOccupancy() - returns lesser of the achieved occupancy
and the lowest occupancy we are ready to tolerate. For example if
a kernel is memory bound we are ready to tolerate 4 waves.
- limitOccupancy() - record occupancy level if we have to lower it.
- increaseOccupancy() - record occupancy if scheduler managed to
increase the occupancy.

MFI takes care of integrating different checks affecting occupancy,
including LDS use and waves-per-eu attribute. Note that scheduler
starts with not yet known register pressure, so has to record either
limit or increase in occupancy after it is done. Later passes can
just query a resulting value.

New interface is used in the active scheduler and NFC wrt its work.
Changes are also made to experimental schedulers to use it and record
an occupancy after they are done. Before the change waves-per-eu was
ignored by experimental schedulers and tolerance window for memory
bound kernels was not used.

Summary:
These new image intrinsics contain the texture type as part of

individual parameters.

This is a preparatory step for implementing the A16 feature, where
coordinates are passed as half-floats or -ints, but the Z compare
value and texel offsets are still full dwords, making it difficult
or impossible to distinguish between A16 on or off in the old-style
intrinsics.

Additionally, these intrinsics pass the 'texfailpolicy' and

for future extensibility.

Currently EVT is in the IR layer only because of Function.cpp needing a very small piece of the functionality of EVT::getEVTString(). The rest of EVT is used in codegen making CodeGen a better place for it.

The previous code converted a Type* to EVT and then called getEVTString. This was only expected to handle the primitive types from Type*. Since there only a few primitive types, we can just print them as strings directly.

However, it does not necessarily modify the node, but may return a resultant node if it already exists in the DAG. See comments in UpdateNodeOperands(). In that case, the return value must be used to avoid such scenarios as an infinite loop (node is assumed to have been updated, so added back to the worklist, and re-processed; however, node hasn’t changed so it is once again passed to UpdateNodeOperands(), assumed modified, added back to worklist; cycle infinitely repeats).

Tim Renouf c8ffffe462 [AMDGPU] For amdpal, widen interpolation mode workaround
Summary:
The interpolation mode workaround ensures that at least one
interpolation mode is enabled in PSInputAddr. It does not also check
PSInputEna on the basis that the user might enable bits in that
depending on run-time state.

However, for amdpal os type, the user does not enable some bits after
compilation based on run-time states; the register values being
generated here are the final ones set in the hardware. Therefore, apply
the workaround to PSInputAddr and PSInputEnable together. (The case
where a bit is set in PSInputAddr but not in PSInputEnable is where the
frontend set up an input arg for a particular interpolation mode, but
nothing uses that input arg. Really we should have an earlier pass that
removes such an arg.)

Connor Abbott 92638ab625 [AMDGPU] Add support for Whole Wavefront Mode
Summary:
Whole Wavefront Wode (WWM) is similar to WQM, except that all of the
lanes are always enabled, regardless of control flow. This is required
for implementing wavefront reductions in non-uniform control flow, where
we need to use the inactive lanes to propagate intermediate results, so
they need to be enabled. We need to propagate WWM to uses (unless
they're explicitly marked as exact) so that they also propagate
intermediate results correctly. We do the analysis and exec mask munging
during the WQM pass, since there are interactions with WQM for things
that require both WQM and WWM. For simplicity, WWM is entirely
block-local -- blocks are never WWM on entry or exit of a block, and WWM
is not propagated to the block level. This means that computations
involving WWM cannot involve control flow, but we only ever plan to use
WWM for a few limited purposes (none of which involve control flow)
anyways.

Shaders can ask for WWM using the @llvm.amdgcn.wwm intrinsic. There
isn't yet a way to turn WWM off -- that will be added in a future
change.

Finally, it turns out that turning on inactive lanes causes a number of
problems with register allocation. While the best long-term solution
seems like teaching LLVM's register allocator about predication, for now
we need to add some hacks to prevent ourselves from getting into trouble
due to constraints that aren't currently expressed in LLVM. For the gory
details, see the comments at the top of SIFixWWMLiveness.cpp.

Connor Abbott 8c217d0a29 [AMDGPU] Add an llvm.amdgcn.wqm intrinsic for WQM
Summary:
Previously, we assumed that certain types of instructions needed WQM in
pixel shaders, particularly DS instructions and image sampling
instructions. This was ok because with OpenGL, the assumption was
correct. But we want to start using DPP instructions for derivatives as
well as other things, so the assumption that we can infer whether to use
WQM based on the instruction won't continue to hold. This intrinsic lets
frontends like Mesa indicate what things need WQM based on their
knowledge of the API, rather than second-guessing them in the backend.
We need to keep around the old method of enabling WQM, but eventually we
should remove it once Mesa catches up. For now, this will let us use DPP
instructions for computing derivatives correctly.

Jonas Paulsson 024e319489 [SystemZ, LoopStrengthReduce]
This patch makes LSR generate better code for SystemZ in the cases of memory
intrinsics, Load->Store pairs or comparison of immediate with memory.

In order to achieve this, the following common code changes were made:

 * New TTI hook: LSRWithInstrQueries(), which defaults to false. Controls if
LSR should do instruction-based addressing evaluations by calling
 isLegalAddressingMode() with the Instruction pointers.
 * In LoopStrengthReduce: handle address operands of memset, memmove and memcpy
as address uses, and call isFoldableMemAccessOffset() for any LSRUse::Address,
 not just loads or stores.

SystemZ changes:

 * isLSRCostLess() implemented with Insns first, and without ImmCost.
 * New function supportedAddressingMode() that is a helper for TTI methods
looking at Instructions passed via pointers.

Stanislav Mekhanoshin 9d7b1c9ddb [AMDGPU] Always use rcp + mul with fast math
Regardless of relaxation options such as -cl-fast-relaxed-math
we are producing rather long code for fdiv via amdgcn_fdiv_fast
intrinsic. This intrinsic is used to replace fdiv with 2.5ulp
metadata and does not handle denormals, thus believed to be fast.

An fdiv instruction can also have fast math flag either by itself
or together with fpmath metadata. Clang used with a relaxation flag
always produces both metadata and fast flag:

%div = fdiv fast float %v, %0, !fpmath !12
!12 = !{float 2.500000e+00}

Current implementation ignores fast flag and favors metadata. An
instruction with just fast flag would be lowered to a fastest rcp +
mul, but that never happen on practice because of described mutual
clang and BE behavior.

This change allows an "fdiv fast" to be always lowered as rcp + mul.

Chandler Carruth 6bda14b313 Sort the remaining #include lines in include/... and lib/....
I did this a long time ago with a janky python script, but now
clang-format has built-in support for this. I fed clang-format every
line with a #include and let it re-sort things according to the precise
LLVM rules for include ordering baked into clang-format these days.

I've reverted a number of files where the results of sorting includes
isn't healthy. Either places where we have legacy code relying on
particular include ordering (where possible, I'll fix these separately)
or where we have particular formatting around #include lines that
I didn't want to disturb in this patch.

This patch is *entirely* mechanical. If you get merge conflicts or
anything, just ignore the changes in this patch and run clang-format
over your #include lines in the files.

Sorry for any noise here, but it is important to keep these things
stable. I was seeing an increasing number of patches with irrelevant
re-ordering of #include lines because clang-format was used. This patch
at least isolates that churn, makes it easy to skip when resolving
conflicts, and gets us to a clean baseline (again).

Perform DAG combine:
and (srl x, c), mask => shl (bfe x, nb + c, mask >> nb), nb
Where nb is a number of trailing zeroes in mask.

It replaces two instructions with two and BFE is generally a more
expensive one. However this is only done if we are selecting a byte
or word at an aligned boundary which results in a proper SDWA
operand pattern. It is only done if SDWA is supported.

TODO: improve SDWA pass to actually convert this pattern. It is not
done now because we have an immediate in the instruction, which has
be moved into a VGPR.

Akira Hatanaka 22e839f4b2 [AArch64] Improve code generation for logical instructions taking
immediate operands.

This commit adds an AArch64 dag-combine that optimizes code generation
for logical instructions taking immediate operands. The optimization
uses demanded bits to change a logical instruction's immediate operand
so that the immediate can be folded into the immediate field of the
instruction.

This recommits r300932 and r300930, which was causing dag-combine to
loop forever. The problem was that optimizeLogicalImm was returning
true even when there was no change to the immediate node (which happened
when the immediate was all zeros or ones), which caused dag-combine to
push and pop the same node to the work list over and over again without
making any progress.

This commit fixes the bug by returning false early in optimizeLogicalImm
if the immediate is all zeros or ones. Also, it changes the code to
compare the immediate with 0 or Mask rather than calling
countPopulation.

As we introduced target triple environment amdgiz and amdgizcl, the address

The basic idea is to use struct AMDGPUAS to represent address space values.
For address space values which are not depend on target triple, use static
const members, so that they don't occupy extra memory space and is equivalent
to a compile time constant.

Since the struct is lightweight and cheap, it can be created on the fly at
the point of usage. Or it can be added as member to a pass and created at
the beginning of the run* function.

Nicolai Haehnle a785209bc2 AMDGPU: Fix Two Address problems with v_movreld
Summary:
The v_movreld machine instruction is used with three operands that are
in a sense tied to each other (the explicit VGPR_32 def and the implicit
VGPR_NN def and use). There is no way to express that using the currently
available operand bits, and indeed there are cases where the Two Address
instructions pass does the wrong thing.

This patch introduces a new set of pseudo instructions that are identical
in intended semantics as v_movreld, but they only have two tied operands.

Having to add a new set of pseudo instructions is admittedly annoying, but
it's a fairly straightforward and solid approach. The only alternative I
see is to try to teach the Two Address instructions pass about Three Address
instructions, and I'm afraid that's trickier and is going to end up more
fragile.

Note that v_movrels does not suffer from this problem, and so this patch
does not touch it.

This fixes several GL45-CTS.shaders.indexing.* tests.

Matt Arsenault ac0fc849cf AMDGPU: Fix broken FrameIndex handling
We were trying to avoid using a FrameIndex operand in non-pointer
operands in a convoluted way, and would break because of
using TargetFrameIndex. The TargetFrameIndex should only be used
in the case where it makes sense to fold it as part of the addressing
mode, otherwise it requires materialization like a normal constant.
This wasn't working reliably and failed in the added testcase, hitting
the assert when processing the frame index.

The TargetFrameIndex was coming from trying to produce an AssertZext
limiting the maximum stack size. I'm not sure this was correct to begin
with, because it is apparently possible to have a single workitem
dispatch that requires all 4G of private memory.

The main challenge in lowering kernel arguments for AMDGPU is determing the

This consolidates all the logic AMDGPU uses for deducing memory types into a single

Alina Sbirlea 6f937b1144 LoadStoreVectorizer: Remove TargetBaseAlign. Keep alignment for stack adjustments.
Summary:
TargetBaseAlign is no longer required since LSV checks if target allows misaligned accesses.
A constant defining a base alignment is still needed for stack accesses where alignment can be adjusted.

Previous patch (D22936) was reverted because tests were failing. This patch also fixes the cause of those failures:
- x86 failing tests either did not have the right target, or the right alignment.
- NVPTX failing tests did not have the right alignment.
- AMDGPU failing test (merge-stores) should allow vectorization with the given alignment but the target info
considers <3xi32> a non-standard type and gives up early. This patch removes the condition and only checks
for a maximum size allowed and relies on the next condition checking for %4 for correctness.
This should be revisited to include 3xi32 as a MVT type (on arsenm's non-immediate todo list).

Note that checking the sizeInBits for a MVT is undefined (leads to an assertion failure),
so we need to create an EVT, hence the interface change in allowsMisaligned to include the Context.

Matt Arsenault cb540bc03c AMDGPU: Expand register indexing pseudos in custom inserter
This is to help moveSILowerControlFlow to before regalloc.
There are a couple of tradeoffs with this. The complete CFG
is visible to more passes, the loop body avoids an extra copy of m0,
vcc isn't required, and immediate offsets can be shrunk into s_movk_i32.

The disadvantage is the register allocator doesn't understand that
the single lane's vector is dead within the loop body, so an extra
register is used to outlive the loop block when expanding the
VGPR -> m0 loop. This also now results in worse waitcnt insertion
before the loop instead of after for pending operations at the point
of the indexing, but that should be fixed by future improvements to
cross block waitcnt insertion.

v_movreld_b32's operands are now modeled more correctly since vdst
is not a true output. This is kind of a hack to treat vdst as a
use operand. Extra checking is required in the verifier since
I can't seem to get tablegen to emit an implicit operand for a
virtual register.

MachineBasicBlock::iterator implicit conversions, a necessary step
toward fixing PR26753.

Duncan P. N. Exon Smith 9cfc75c214 CodeGen: Use MachineInstr& in TargetInstrInfo, NFC
This is mostly a mechanical change to make TargetInstrInfo API take
MachineInstr& (instead of MachineInstr* or MachineBasicBlock::iterator)
when the argument is expected to be a valid MachineInstr. This is a
general API improvement.

Although it would be possible to do this one function at a time, that
would demand a quadratic amount of churn since many of these functions
call each other. Instead I've done everything as a block and just
updated what was necessary.

This is mostly mechanical fixes: adding and removing `*` and `&`
operators. The only non-mechanical change is to split
ARMBaseInstrInfo::getOperandLatencyImpl out from
ARMBaseInstrInfo::getOperandLatency. Previously, the latter took a
`MachineInstr*` which it updated to the instruction bundle leader; now,
the latter calls the former either with the same `MachineInstr&` or the
bundle leader.

As a side effect, this removes a bunch of MachineInstr* to
MachineBasicBlock::iterator implicit conversions, a necessary step
toward fixing PR26753.

Note: I updated WebAssembly, Lanai, and AVR (despite being
off-by-default) since it turned out to be easy. I couldn't run tests
for AVR since llc doesn't link with it turned on.

The code previously always used s1 as it was using the user + system SGPR
information for compute kernels. This is incorrect for Mesa shaders though,

The register should be the next SGPR after all user and system SGPR's.
We use that Mesa adds arguments for all input and system SGPR's and
take the next available SGPR for the scratch wave offset register.

If we know we have stack objects, we reserve the registers
that the private buffer resource and wave offset are passed
and use them directly.

If not, reserve the last 5 SGPRs just in case we need to spill.
After register allocation, try to pick the next available registers
instead of the last SGPRs, and then insert copies from the inputs
to the reserved registers in the progloue.

This also only selectively enables all of the input registers
which are really required instead of always enabling them.

It does not work because of emergency stack slots.
This pass was supposed to eliminate dummy registers for the

more during PrologEpilogInserter, so some would end up
left behind if they were needed.

The potential for spilling the scratch resource descriptor
and offset register makes doing something like this
overly complicated. Reserve registers to use for the resource
descriptor and use them directly in eliminateFrameIndex.

Also removes creating another scratch resource descriptor
when directly selecting scratch MUBUF instructions.

The choice of which registers are reserved is temporary.
For now it attempts to pick the next available registers
after the user and system SGPRs.

Matt Arsenault 6005fcbe12 AMDGPU: Simplify VOP3 operand legalization.
This was checking for a variety of situations that should
never happen. This saves a tiny bit of compile time.

We should not be selecting instructions with invalid operands in the
first place. Most of the time for registers copys are inserted
to the correct operand register class.

For VOP3, since all operand types are supported and literal
constants never are, we just need to verify the constant bus
requirements (all immediates should be legal inline ones).

The only possibly tricky case to maybe worry about is if when
legalizing operands in moveToVALU with s_add_i32 and similar
instructions. If the original s_add_i32 had a literal constant
and we need to replace it with v_add_i32_e64 we would have an
unsupported literal operand. However, I don't think we should worry
about that because SIFoldOperands should handle folding literal
constant operands into the SALU instructions based on the uses.
At SIFoldOperands time, the legality and profitability of
operand types is a bit different.

Matt Arsenault 2d6fdb8495 AMDGPU: Re-justify workaround and fix worked around problem
When buffer resource descriptors were built, the upper two components
of the descriptor were first composed into a 64-bit register because
legalizeOperands assumed all operands had the same register class.
Fix that problem, but keep the workaround. I'm not sure anything
actually is actually emitting such a REG_SEQUENCE now.

If multiple resource descriptors are set up with different base
pointers, this is copied with a single s_mov_b64. We probably
should fix this better by recognizing a pair of s_mov_b32 later,
but for now delete the dead code.

Sanjay Patel a260701bbb propagate fast-math-flags on DAG nodes
After D10403, we had FMF in the DAG but disabled by default. Nick reported no crashing errors after some stress testing,
so I enabled them at r243687. However, Escha soon notified us of a bug not covered by any in-tree regression tests:
if we don't propagate the flags, we may fail to CSE DAG nodes because differing FMF causes them to not match. There is
one test case in this patch to prove that point.

This patch hopes to fix or leave a 'TODO' for all of the in-tree places where we create nodes that are FMF-capable. I
did this by putting an assert in SelectionDAG.getNode() to find any FMF-capable node that was being created without FMF
( D11807 ). I then ran all regression tests and test-suite and confirmed that everything passes.

This patch exposes remaining work to get DAG FMF to be fully functional: (1) add the flags to non-binary nodes such as
FCMP, FMA and FNEG; (2) add the flags to intrinsics; (3) use the flags as conditions for transforms rather than the
current global settings.
