Saleem Abdulrasool 448e8ad943 Sema: Windows/ARM __va_start is not const correct
The `__va_start` intrinsic for Windows ARM does not account for const
correctness when performing a check.  All local qualifiers are ignored
when validating the invocation.  This was exposed by building the swift
stdlib against the Windows 10586 SDK for ARM.  Simply expand out the
check for the two parameters and ignore the qualifiers for the check.

clauses for these implicitly mapped variables.

Akira Hatanaka 34b5dbca0a Promote storage-only __fp16 vector operands to float vectors.
This commit fixes a bug in the handling of storage-only __fp16 vectors
where clang didn't promote __fp16 vector operands to float vectors.

Conceptually, it performs the following transformation on the AST in
CreateBuiltinBinOp and CreateBuiltinUnaryOp:

(Before)
  typedef __fp16 half4 __attribute__ ((vector_size (8)));
  typedef float float4 __attribute__ ((vector_size (16)));
  half4 hv0, hv1, hv2, hv3;

  hv0 = hv1 + hv2 + hv3;

(After)
  float4 t0 = (float4)hv1 + (float4)hv2;
  float4 t1 = t0 + (float4)hv3;
  hv0 = (half4)t1;

Note that this commit fixes the bug for targets that set
HalfArgsAndReturns to true (ARM and ARM64). Targets using intrinsics
such as llvm.convert.to.fp16 to handle __fp16 are still broken.

Summary:
It will move destructors and operators to the end of completion list.
Destructors and operators are currently very high on the completion
list, as they have the same priority as member functions. However,
they are clearly not something users usually choose in completion
lists.

Alexander Shaposhnikov 1788a9b71c [clang] Fix printf fixit for objc specific types
For the triple thumbv7-apple-ios8.0.0 ssize_t is long and size_t is unsigned long,
while NSInteger is int and NSUinteger is unsigned int. Following 
https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/Cocoa/Conceptual/Strings/Articles/formatSpecifiers.html
Clang catches it and insert a cast to long, for example
 printf("%zd", getNSInteger())
will be replaced with 
 printf("%zd", (long)getNSInteger())
but since the underlying type of ssize_t is long the specifier "%zd" is not getting replaced.
This diff changes this behavior to enable replacing the specifier "%zd" with the correct one.

This reinstates r313827, reverted in r313856, with a fix for the 'out-of-bounds
enumeration value' ubsan error in that change.

Richard Smith aa6ce34141 Fix tracking of whether a destructor would be deleted.
I've been unable to find any cases whose behavior is actually changed by this,
but only because an implicitly deleted destructor also results in it being
impossible to have a trivial (non-deleted) copy constructor, which the place
where this really matters (choosing whether to pass a class in registers)
happens to also check.

Akira Hatanaka 98a49337be Add support for attribute 'noescape'.
The attribute informs the compiler that the annotated pointer parameter
of a function cannot escape and enables IRGen to attach attribute
'nocapture' to parameters that are annotated with the attribute. That is
the only optimization that currently takes advantage of 'noescape', but
there are other optimizations that will be added later that improves
IRGen for ObjC blocks.

This recommits r313722, which was reverted in r313725 because clang
couldn't build compiler-rt. It failed to build because there were
function declarations that were missing 'noescape'. That has been fixed
in r313929.

Erich Keane 69dbbb0bca Suppress Wsign-conversion for enums with matching underlying type
As reported here: https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34692

A non-defined enum with a backing type was always defaulting to
being treated as a signed type. IN the case where it IS defined,
the signed-ness of the actual items is used.

This patch uses the underlying type's signed-ness in the non-defined
case to test signed-comparision.

Volodymyr Sapsai 4fbaa62b60 [Sema] Prevent InstantiateClass from checking unrelated exception specs.
Sema::InstantiateClass should check only exception specs added during
class instantiation and ignore already present delayed specs. This fixes
a case where we instantiate a class before parsing member initializers,
check exceptions for a different class and fail to find a member
initializer. Which is required for comparing exception specs for
explicitly-defaulted and implicit default constructor. With the fix we
are still checking exception specs but only after member initializers
are present.

Removing errors in crash-unparsed-exception.cpp is acceptable according
to discussion in PR24000 because other compilers accept code in
crash-unparsed-exception.cpp as valid.

Roman Lebedev 30d2608637 Replace r313747, don't always warn on enums, rework testcases.
As Aaron Ballman has pointed out, that is not really correct.
So the key problem there is the invalidity of the testcase.

Revert r313747, and rework testcase in such a way, so these
details (platform-specific default enum sigdness) are
accounted for.

Also, add a C++-specific testcase.

Roman Lebedev b513ebfc0f [Sema] CheckTautologicalComparisonWithZero(): always complain about enums
Hopefully fixes test-clang-msc-x64-on-i686-linux-RA build.

The underlying problem is that the enum is signed there.
Yet still, it is invalid for it to contain negative values,
so the comparison is always tautological in this case.

Roman Lebedev b0f0a1ea03 [Sema] Move some stuff into -Wtautological-unsigned-enum-zero-compare
Recommit. Original commit was reverted because buildbots broke.
The error was only reproducible in the build with assertions.
The problem was that the diagnostic expected true/false as
bool, while it was provided as string "true"/"false".

Summary:
As requested by Sam McCall:

Richard Smith 405e2dbf37 Implement C++ [basic.link]p8.
If a function or variable has a type with no linkage (and is not extern "C"),
any use of it requires a definition within the same translation unit; the idea
is that it is not possible to define the entity elsewhere, so any such use is
necessarily an error.

There is an exception, though: some types formally have no linkage but
nonetheless can be referenced from other translation units (for example, this
happens to anonymous structures defined within inline functions). For entities
with those types, we suppress the diagnostic except under -pedantic.

Rachel Craik 1cf49e4d12 [OpenMP] fix seg-faults printing diagnostics with invalid ordered(n) values
When the value specified for n in ordered(n) is larger than the number of loops a segmentation fault can occur in one of two ways when attempting to print out a diagnostic for an associated depend(sink : vec):
1) The iteration vector vec contains less than n items
2) The iteration vector vec contains a variable that is not a loop control variable
This patch addresses both of these issues.

Bjorn Pettersson 9cf0e12a80 [Sema] Disallow assigning record lvalues with nested const-qualified fields.
Summary:
According to C99 6.3.2.1p1, structs and unions with nested
const-qualified fields (that is, const-qualified fields
declared at some recursive level of the aggregate) are not
modifiable lvalues. However, Clang permits assignments of
these lvalues.

With this patch, we both prohibit the assignment of records
with const-qualified fields and emit a best-effort diagnostic.
This fixes https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31796 .

Erich Keane 0ac9524c99 [Sema] Fix a pair of crashes when generating exception specifiers with an
error'ed field for a template class' default ctor.

The two examples in the test would both cause a compiler assert when attempting
to calculate the exception specifier for the default constructor for the
template classes. The problem was that dependents of this function expect that
Field->getInClassInitializer (including canThrow) is not nullptr. However, if
the template's initializer has an error, exactly that situation happens.

This patch simply sets the field to be invalid.

Faisal Vali f60ebcda68 Fix the second half of PR34266: Don't implicitly capture '*this' if the members are found in a class unrelated to the enclosing class.

For e.g.
  struct A {
     void f(int);
     static void f(char);
  };
  struct B {
    auto foo() {
      return [&] (auto a) {
         A::f(a); // this should not cause a capture of '*this'
      };
    }
  };

The patch does the following:
1) It moves the check to attempt an implicit capture of '*this' by reference into the more logical location of when the call is actually built within ActOnCallExpr (as opposed to when the unresolved-member-lookup node is created).
  - Reminder: A capture of '*this' by value has to always be an explicit capture.

2) It additionally checks whether the naming class of the UnresolvedMemberExpr ('A' in the example above) is related to the enclosing class ('B' above).

Volodymyr Sapsai 8b0bbc6fe0 [Sema] Error out early for tags defined inside an enumeration.
This fixes PR28903 by avoiding access check for inner enum constant. We
are performing access check because one enum constant references another
and because enum is defined in CXXRecordDecl. But access check doesn't
work because FindDeclaringClass doesn't expect more than one EnumDecl
and because inner enum has access AS_none due to not being an immediate
child of a record.

The change detects an enum is defined in wrong place and allows to skip
parsing its body. Access check is skipped together with body parsing.
There was no crash in C, added test case to cover the new error.

Volodymyr Sapsai 4c33079dc3 [Sema] Correct typos in LHS, RHS before building a binop expression.
Specifically, typo correction should be done before dispatching between
different kinds of binary operations like pseudo-object assignment,
overloaded binary operation, etc.

Without this change we hit an assertion

    Assertion failed: (!LHSExpr->hasPlaceholderType(BuiltinType::PseudoObject)), function CheckAssignmentOperands

when in Objective-C we reference a property without `self` and there are
2 equally good typo correction candidates: ivar and a class name. In
this case LHS expression in `BuildBinOp` is

    CXXDependentScopeMemberExpr
    `-TypoExpr

and instead of handling Obj-C property assignment as pseudo-object
assignment, we call `CreateBuiltinBinOp` which corrects typo to

    ObjCPropertyRefExpr '<pseudo-object type>'

but cannot handle pseudo-objects and asserts about it (indirectly,
through `CheckAssignmentOperands`).

Richard Trieu 285c93666b Catch more cases with -Wenum-compare
Treat typedef enum as named enums instead of anonymous enums.  Anonymous enums

Roman Lebedev 6aa34aadd1 [Sema] -Wtautological-compare: handle comparison of unsigned with 0S.
Summary:
This is a first half(?) of a fix for the following bug:
https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34147 (gcc -Wtype-limits)

GCC's -Wtype-limits does warn on comparison of unsigned value
with signed zero (as in, with 0), but clang only warns if the
zero is unsigned (i.e. 0U).

Also, be careful not to double-warn, or falsely warn on
comparison of signed/fp variable and signed 0.

Yes, all these testcases are needed.

Testing: $ ninja check-clang-sema check-clang-semacxx
Also, no new warnings for clang stage-2 build.

Block captures can have different physical locations
in memory segments depending on the use case (as a function
call or as a kernel enqueue) and in different vendor
implementations.

Therefore it's unclear how to add address space to capture
addresses uniformly. Currently it has been decided to disallow
taking addresses of captured variables until further
clarifications in the spec.

Alexey Bataev 5372fb8cc1 [OPENMP] Fix for PR34398: assert with random access iterator if the
step>1.

If the loop is a loot with random access iterators and the iteration
construct is represented it += n, then the compiler crashed because of
reusing of the same MaterializedTemporaryExpr around N. Patch fixes it
by using the expression as written, without any special kind of
wrappings.

Nico Weber bf2260ca62 Suppress -Wdelete-non-virtual-dtor warnings about classes defined in system headers.
r312167 made it so that we emit Wdelete-non-virtual-dtor from delete statements
that are in system headers (e.g. std::unique_ptr). That works great on Linux
and macOS, but on Windows there are non-final classes that are defined in
system headers that have virtual methods but non-virtual destructors and yet
get deleted through a base class pointer (e.g. ATL::CAccessToken::CRevert). So
paddle back a bit and don't emit the warning if it's about a class defined in a
system header.

Nico Weber 955bb84090 Let -Wdelete-non-virtual-dtor fire in system headers too.
Makes the warning useful again in a std::unique_ptr world, PR28460.

Also make the warning not fire in unevaluated contexts, since system libraries
(e.g. libc++) do do that. This would've been a good change before we started
emitting this warning in system headers too, but "normal" code seems to be less
template-heavy, so we didn't notice until now.

Faisal Vali 13624cf980 Pass the correct object argument when a member call to an 'unrelated' class is made.
Prior to this patch, clang would do the wrong thing here (see inline comments for pre-patch behavior):

  struct A {
    void bar(int) { }
    static void bar(double) { }
    
    void g(int*);
    static void g(char *);
  };


  struct B {
    void f() {
      A::bar(3);  // selects (double) ??!!
      A::g((int*)0); // Instead of no object argument, states conversion error?!!
    }

The fix is as follows:  When we detect that what appears to be an implicit member function call (A::bar) is actually a call to a member of a class (A) unrelated to the type (B) that contains the member function (B::f) from which the call is being made, don't treat it (A::bar) as an Implicit Member Call Expression.

P.S. I wonder if there is an existing bug report related to this? (Surprisingly, a cursory search did not find one).

Gor Nishanov 0f33300609 [coroutines] Support coroutine-handle returning await-suspend (i.e symmetric control transfer)
Summary:
If await_suspend returns a coroutine_handle, as in the example below:
```
  coroutine_handle<> await_suspend(coroutine_handle<> h) {
    coro.promise().waiter = h;
    return coro;
  }
```
suspensionExpression processing will resume the coroutine pointed at by that handle.
Related LLVM change rL311751 makes resume calls of this kind `musttail` at any optimization level.

This enables unlimited symmetric control transfer from coroutine to coroutine without blowing up the stack.

This commit fixes a bug introduced in r307903. The attribute ambiguity checker
that was introduced in r307903 checked all property attributes, which caused
errors for source-compatible properties, like:

@property (nonatomic, readonly) NSObject *prop;
@property (nonatomic, readwrite) NSObject *prop;

because the readwrite property would get implicit 'strong' attribute. The
ambiguity checker should be concerned about explicitly specified attributes
only.

Richard Smith 96cd671cd6 PR19668, PR23034: Fix handling of move constructors and deleted copy
constructors when deciding whether classes should be passed indirectly.

This fixes ABI differences between Clang and GCC:

 * Previously, Clang ignored the move constructor when making this
   determination. It now takes the move constructor into account, per
   https://github.com/itanium-cxx-abi/cxx-abi/pull/17 (this change may
   seem recent, but the ABI change was agreed on the Itanium C++ ABI
   list a long time ago).

 * Previously, Clang's behavior when the copy constructor was deleted
   was unstable -- depending on whether the lazy declaration of the
   copy constructor had been triggered, you might get different behavior.
   We now eagerly declare the copy constructor whenever its deletedness
   is unclear, and ignore deleted copy/move constructors when looking for
   a trivial such constructor.

This also fixes an ABI difference between Clang and MSVC:

 * If the copy constructor would be implicitly deleted (but has not been
   lazily declared yet), for instance because the class has an rvalue
   reference member, we would pass it directly. We now pass such a class
   indirectly, matching MSVC.

Based on a patch by Vassil Vassilev, which was based on a patch by Bernd
Schmidt, which was based on a patch by Reid Kleckner!

This is a re-commit of r310401, which was reverted in r310464 due to ARM
failures (which should now be fixed).

Richard Smith 6c716116df PR34163: Don't cache an incorrect key function for a class if queried between
the class becoming complete and its inline methods being parsed.

This replaces the hack of using the "late parsed template" flag to track member
functions with bodies we've not parsed yet; instead we now use the "will have
body" flag, which carries the desired implication that the function declaration
*is* a definition, and that we've just not parsed its body yet.

Erich Keane be89f4c565 Fix broken getAttributeSpellingListIndex for pragma attributes
We noticed when implementing a new pragma that the TableGen-generated function 
getAttributeSpellingListIndex() did not work for pragma attributes. It relies 
on the values in the enum AttributeList::Syntax and a new value 
AS_ContextSensitiveKeyword was added changing the value for AS_Pragma. 
Apparently no tests failed since no pragmas currently make use of the 
generated function.

To fix this we can move AS_Pragma back to the value that TableGen code expects. 
Also to prevent changes in the enum from breaking that routine again I added 
calls to getAttributeSpellingListIndex() in the unroll pragma code. That will 
cause some lit test failures if the order is changed. I added a comment to 
remind of this issue in the future.

This assumes we don’t need/want full TableGen support for 
AS_ContextSensitiveKeyword. It currently only appears in getAttrKind and no 
other TableGen-generated routines.

Tim Northover 9710338a56 Reapply Sema: allow imaginary constants via GNU extension if UDL overloads not present.
C++14 added user-defined literal support for complex numbers so that you
can write something like "complex<double> val = 2i". However, there is
an existing GNU extension supporting this syntax and interpreting the
result as a _Complex type.

This changes parsing so that such literals are interpreted in terms of
C++14's operators if an overload is present but otherwise falls back to
the original GNU extension.

(We now have more robust diagnostics for implicit conversions so the
libc++ test that caused the original revert still passes).

Tim Northover 0241637c0e Sema: disable implicit conversion from _Complex to real types in C++.
Converting a _Complex type to a real one simply discards the imaginary part.
This can easily lead to loss of information so for safety (and GCC
compatibility) this patch disallows that when the conversion would be implicit.

The one exception is bool, which actually compares both real and imaginary
parts and so is safe.

Aaron Ballman b6fd726f9c Restore previous structure ABI behavior for bit-fields with the packed attribute for PS4 targets.
An ABI change was introduced in r254596 that modified structure layouts when the 'packed' attribute was used on one-byte bitfields. Since the PS4 target needs to maintain backwards compatibility for all structure layouts, this change reintroduces the old behavior for PS4 targets only. It also introduces PS4 specific cases to the relevant test.

Alexey Bataev be83fad57e [OPENMP][DEBUG] Set proper address space info if required by target.
Arguments, passed to the outlined function, must have correct address
space info for proper Debug info support. Patch sets global address
space for arguments that are mapped and passed by reference.

Also, cuda-gdb does not handle reference types correctly, so reference
arguments are represented as pointers.

Yaxun Liu 39195062c2 Add OpenCL 2.0 atomic builtin functions as Clang builtin
OpenCL 2.0 atomic builtin functions have a scope argument which is ideally
represented as synchronization scope argument in LLVM atomic instructions.

Clang supports translating Clang atomic builtin functions to LLVM atomic
instructions. However it currently does not support synchronization scope
of LLVM atomic instructions. Without this, users have to use LLVM assembly
code to implement OpenCL atomic builtin functions.

This patch adds OpenCL 2.0 atomic builtin functions as Clang builtin
functions, which supports generating LLVM atomic instructions with
synchronization scope operand.

Currently only constant memory scope argument is supported. Support of
non-constant memory scope argument will be added later.

Tim Shen 1efd2229f0 [Sema] Add a comment on an identified bug on default arguments.
Summary:
The mis-compile is triggered by internal code, but I haven't reduced it to a small piece of code. Add a FIXME here, since a decent fix doesn't seem to be trivial.

The decent fix can be changing Decl::Init to PointerUnion<Stmt *, EvaluatedStmt *, ParamVarDecl *>, and make setUninstantiatedDefaultArg take a ParamVarDecl *, which contains the Expr * as the default argument. This way, getTemplateInstantiationArgs can take that ParamVarDecl and do the right thing.

Summary:
Previously Clang was not considering operator declarations that occur at function scope. This is incorrect according to [over.match.oper]p3

warning proved to be too aggressive for external projects like Chromium
(https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=749197). This recommit
makes the problematic warning a non-default one, and gives it the
-Wpragma-pack-suspicious-include warning option.

The first recommit (r308441) caused a "non-default #pragma pack value might
change the alignment of struct or union members in the included file" warning
in LLVM itself. This recommit tweaks the added warning to avoid warnings for
#includes that don't have any records that are affected by the non-default
alignment. This tweak avoids the previously emitted warning in LLVM.

Raphael Isemann 7d19bd06d1 Don't set TUScope to null when generating a module in incremental processing mode.
Summary: When in incremental processing mode, we should never set `TUScope` to a nullptr otherwise any future lookups fail. We already have similar checks in the rest of the code, but we never hit this one because so far we didn't try to generate a module from the AST that Cling generates.

- Extracted the reading of the tokens out into a separate function.
  - Replace 'Argument' with 'Parameter' when referring to the identifiers of the macro definition (as opposed to the supplied arguments - MacroArgs - during the macro invocation).

This is in preparation for submitting patches for review to implement __VA_OPT__ which will otherwise just keep lengthening the HandleDefineDirective function and making it less comprehensible.

I will also directly update some extra clang tooling that is broken by the change from Argument to Parameter.

Hopefully the bots will stay appeased.

Alex Lorenz 50b2dd336e [ObjC] Pick a 'readwrite' property when synthesizing ambiguous
property and check for incompatible attributes

This commit changes the way ambiguous property synthesis (i.e. when synthesizing
a property that's declared in multiple protocols) is performed. Previously,
Clang synthesized the first property that was found. This lead to problems when
the property was synthesized in a class that conformed to two protocols that
declared that property and a second protocols had a 'readwrite' declaration -
the setter was not synthesized so the class didn't really conform to the second
protocol and user's code would crash at runtime when they would try to set the
property.

This commit ensures that a first readwrite property is selected. This is a
semantic change that changes users code in this manner:

To ensure that this change is safe, the warning about incompatible types is
promoted to an error when this kind of readonly/readwrite ambiguity is detected
in the @implementation. This will ensure that previous code that had this subtle
bug and ignored the warning now will fail to compile with an error, and users
should not get suprises at runtime once they resolve the error.

The commit also extends the ambiguity checker, and now it can detect conflicts
among the different property attributes. An error diagnostic is used for
conflicting attributes, to ensure that the user won't get "suprises" at runtime.

ProtocolPropertyMap is removed in favour of a a set + vector because the map's
order of iteration is non-deterministic, so it couldn't be used to select the
readwrite property.

Alex Lorenz 4b9f80cc03 [ObjC] Check that a subscript methods is declared for a qualified id type
Objective-C subscript expressions report errors when a subscript method is not
declared in the base class. However, prior to this commit, qualified id types
were not checked. This commit ensures that an appropriate error is reported
when a subscript method is not declared in any of the protocols that are
included in the qualified id type.

Reid Kleckner cd016d8dc6 [MS] Don't statically initialize dllimport member function pointers
Summary:
r306137 made dllimport pointers to member functions non-constant. This
is correct because a load must be executed to resolve any dllimported
data. However, r306137 did not account for the use of dllimport member
function pointers used as template arguments.

This change re-lands r306137 with a template instantiation fix.

This fixes PR33570.

When enable_if disables a particular overload resolution candidate,
rummage through the enable_if condition to find the specific condition
that caused the failure. For example, if we have something like:

      typename = std::enable_if_t<Random_access_iterator<Iter> &&
                                  Comparable<Iterator_value_type<Iter>>>>
    void mysort(Iter first, Iter last) {}

and we call "mysort" with "std::list<int>" iterators, we'll get a
diagnostic saying that the "Random_access_iterator<Iter>" requirement
failed. If we call "mysort" with
"std::vector<something_not_comparable>", we'll get a diagnostic saying
that the "Comparable<...>" requirement failed.

Richard Smith d19389a3c9 [modules ts] Improve merging of module-private declarations.
These cases occur frequently for declarations in the global module (above the
module-declaration) in a Modules TS module interface. When we merge a
definition from another module into such a module-private definition, ensure
that we transitively make everything lexically within that definition visible
to that translation unit.

Vassil Vassilev b00ea08fda [modules] Teach clang how to merge typedef over anonymous structs in C mode.
In C mode clang fails to merge the textually included definition with the one imported from a module. The C lookup rules fail to find the imported definition because its linkage is internal in non C++ mode.

This patch reinstates some of the ODR merging rules for typedefs of anonymous tags for languages other than C++.

Jonas Hahnfeld f7c4d7b0b1 [OpenMP] Fix mapping of scalars for combined directives
Combined directives like 'target parallel' have two captured statements.
Sema has to check the right one from the right direction.

Previously, Sema::IsOpenMPCapturedByRef would return false for mapped
scalars on combined directives. This results in a wrong signature of
the outlined function which triggers an assertion:
void llvm::CallInst::init(llvm::FunctionType *, llvm::Value *, ArrayRef<llvm::Value *>, ArrayRef<OperandBundleDef>, const llvm::Twine &): Assertion `(i >= FTy->getNumParams() || FTy->getParamType(i) == Args[i]->getType()) && "Calling a function with a bad signature!"' failed.

Bruno Cardoso Lopes df0ee34bc2 [Modules] Implement ODR-like semantics for tag types in C/ObjC
Allow ODR for ObjC/C in the sense that we won't keep more that
one definition around (merge them). However, ensure the decl
pass the structural compatibility check in C11 6.2.7/1, for that,
reuse the structural equivalence checks used by the ASTImporter.

Few other considerations:
- Create error diagnostics for tag types mismatches and thread
them into the structural equivalence checks.
- Note that by doing this we only support redefinition between types
that are considered "compatible types" by C.

This is mixed approach of the suggestions discussed in
http://lists.llvm.org/pipermail/cfe-dev/2017-March/053257.html

Akira Hatanaka cae83f78aa [Sema] Issue diagnostics if a new/delete expression generates a call to
a c++17 aligned allocation/deallocation function that is unavailable in
the standard library on Apple platforms.

The aligned functions are implemented only in the following versions or
later versions of the OSes, so clang issues diagnostics if the deployment
target being targeted is older than these:

macosx: 10.13
ios: 11.0
tvos: 11.0
watchos: 4.0

The diagnostics are issued whenever the aligned functions are selected
except when the selected function has a definition in the same file.
If there is a user-defined function available somewhere else, option
-Wno-aligned-allocation-unavailable can be used to silence the
diagnostics.

George Burgess IV d3cf025ae2 [Sema] Allow unmarked overloadable functions.
This patch extends the `overloadable` attribute to allow for one
function with a given name to not be marked with the `overloadable`
attribute. The overload without the `overloadable` attribute will not
have its name mangled.

So, the following code is now legal:

  void foo(void) __attribute__((overloadable));
  void foo(int);
  void foo(float) __attribute__((overloadable));

In addition, this patch fixes a bug where we'd accept code with
`__attribute__((overloadable))` inconsistently applied. In other words,
we used to accept:

  void foo(void);
  void foo(void) __attribute__((overloadable));

But we will do this no longer, since it defeats the original purpose of
requiring `__attribute__((overloadable))` on all redeclarations of a
function.

This breakage seems to not be an issue in practice, since the only code
I could find that had this pattern often looked like:

  void foo(void);
  void foo(void) __attribute__((overloadable)) __asm__("foo");
  void foo(int) __attribute__((overloadable));

...Which can now be simplified by simply removing the asm label and
overloadable attribute from the redeclaration of `void foo(void);`

Richard Smith 9f7df0c068 Revert r301742, which caused us to try to evaluate all full-expressions.
Also add testcases for a bunch of expression forms that cause our evaluator to
crash. See PR33140 and PR32864 for crashes that this was causing.

This reverts r305287, which reverted r305239, which reverted r301742. The
previous revert claimed that buildbots were broken, but did not add any
testcases and the buildbots have lost all memory of what was wrong here.

Changes to test/OpenMP are not reverted; another change has triggered those
tests to change their output in the same way that r301742 did.

Akira Hatanaka 12ddceecde [Sema] Fix a crash-on-invalid when a template parameter list has a class
definition or non-reference class type.

The crash occurs when there is a template parameter list in a class that
is missing the closing angle bracket followed by a definition of a
struct. For example:

class C0 {
public:
  template<typename T, typename T1 = T // missing closing angle bracket
  struct S0 {};

  C0() : m(new S0<int>) {}
  S0<int> *m;
};

This happens because the parsed struct is added to the scope of the
enclosing class without having its access specifier set, which results
in an assertion failure in SemaAccess.cpp later.

This commit fixes the crash by adding the parsed struct to the enclosing
file scope and marking structs as invalid if they are defined in
template parameter lists.

Erich Keane 89fe9c269a Emit warning when throw exception in destruct or dealloc functions which has a
(possible implicit) noexcept specifier

Throwing in the destructor is not good (C++11 change try to not allow see below).
 But in reality, those codes are exist.
C++11 [class.dtor]p3:

A declaration of a destructor that does not have an exception-specification is 
implicitly considered to have the same exception specification as an implicit 
declaration.

With this change, the application worked before may now run into runtime 
termination. My goal here is to emit a warning to provide only possible info to 
where the code may need to be changed.

First there is no way, in compile time to identify the “throw” really throw out 
of the function. Things like the call which throw out… To keep this simple, 
when “throw” is seen, checking its enclosing function(only destructor and 
dealloc functions) with noexcept(true) specifier emit warning.

Here is implementation detail:
A new member function CheckCXXThrowInNonThrowingFunc is added for class Sema 
in Sema.h. It is used in the call to both BuildCXXThrow and 
TransformCXXThrowExpr.

The function basic check if the enclosing function with non-throwing noexcept 
specifer, if so emit warning for it.

The example of warning message like:
k1.cpp:18:3: warning: ''~dependent_warn'' has a (possible implicit) non-throwing

    noexcept specifier. Throwing exception may cause termination.
        [-Wthrow-in-dtor]
        throw 1;
        ^

Richard Smith 90dc525472 PR33552: Distinguish between declarations that are owned by no module and
declarations that are owned but unconditionally visible.

This allows us to set declarations as visible even if they have a local owning
module, without losing information. In turn, that means that our Objective-C
support can keep on incorrectly assuming the "hidden" bit on the declaration is
the whole story with regard to name visibility. This will also be useful once
we support the C++ Modules TS export semantics.

Objective-C name visibility is still incorrect in any case where the "hidden"
bit is not the complete story: for instance, in Objective-C++ the set of
visible categories will be wrong during template instantiation, and with local
submodule visibility enabled it will be wrong when building modules. Fixing that
will require a major overhaul of how visibility is handled for Objective-C (and
particularly for categories).

The new compiler warning -Wunguarded-availability-new is a subset of
-Wunguarded-availability. It is on by default. It only warns about uses of APIs
that have been introduced in macOS >= 10.13, iOS >= 11, watchOS >= 4 and
tvOS >= 11. We decided to use this kind of solution as we didn't want to turn
on -Wunguarded-availability by default, because we didn't want our users to get
warnings about uses of old APIs in their existing projects.

Serge Pavlov 25dbe1a16e Function with unparsed body is a definition
While a function body is being parsed, the function declaration is not considered
as a definition because it does not have a body yet. In some cases it leads to
incorrect interpretation, the case is presented in
https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14785:

    template<typename T> struct Somewhat {
      void internal() const {}
      friend void operator+(int const &, Somewhat<T> const &) {}
    };
void operator+(int const &, Somewhat<char> const &x) { x.internal(); }
```
When statement `x.internal()` in the body of global `operator+` is parsed, the type
of `x` must be completed, so the instantiation of `Somewhat<char>` is started. It
instantiates the declaration of `operator+` defined inline, and makes a check for
redefinition. The check does not detect another definition because the declaration
of `operator+` is still not defining as does not have a body yet.

To solves this problem the function `isThisDeclarationADefinition` considers
a function declaration as a definition if it has flag `WillHaveBody` set.

This change fixes PR14785.

Erich Keane c9cb1c13ba Fix for Bug 33471: Preventing operator auto from resolving to a template operator.
As the bug report says,
struct A
{

  template<typename T> operator T();

};

void foo()
{

  A().operator auto();

}

causes: "undeduced type in IR-generation
UNREACHABLE executed at llvm/tools/clang/lib/CodeGen/CodeGenFunction.cpp:208!"

The problem is that in this case, "T" is being deduced as "auto", 
which I believe is incorrect.

The 'operator auto' implementation in Clang is standards compliant, however 
there is a defect report against core (1670).

Summary:
Before this change, we couldn't capture the `this` pointer that's
implicitly the first argument of class member functions. There are some
interesting things we can do with capturing even just this single
argument for zero-argument member functions.

While a function body is being parsed, the function declaration is not considered
as a definition because it does not have a body yet. In some cases it leads to
incorrect interpretation, the case is presented in
https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14785:
```
    template<typename T> struct Somewhat {
      void internal() const {}
      friend void operator+(int const &, Somewhat<T> const &) {}
    };
void operator+(int const &, Somewhat<char> const &x) { x.internal(); }
```
When statement `x.internal()` in the body of global `operator+` is parsed, the type
of `x` must be completed, so the instantiation of `Somewhat<char>` is started. It
instantiates the declaration of `operator+` defined inline, and makes a check for
redefinition. The check does not detect another definition because the declaration
of `operator+` is still not defining as does not have a body yet.

To solves this problem the function `isThisDeclarationADefinition` considers
a function declaration as a definition if it has flag `WillHaveBody` set.

This change fixes PR14785.

Vassil Vassilev 41cafcd49c [modules] Fix that global delete operator get's assigned to a submodule.
n the current local-submodule-visibility mode, as soon as we discover a virtual
destructor, we declare on demand a global delete operator. However, this causes
that this delete operator is owned by the submodule which contains said virtual
destructor. This means that other modules no longer can see the global delete
operator which is hidden inside another submodule and fail to compile.

This patch unhides those global allocation function once they're created to
prevent this issue.

Alexey Bataev 56223237b0 [DebugInfo] Add kind of ImplicitParamDecl for emission of FlagObjectPointer.
Summary:
If the first parameter of the function is the ImplicitParamDecl, codegen
automatically marks it as an implicit argument with `this` or `self`
pointer. Added internal kind of the ImplicitParamDecl to separate
'this', 'self', 'vtt' and other implicit parameters from other kind of
parameters.

George Burgess IV c07c389a94 [Sema] Remove unused field from OverloadCandidate.
The only use in-tree I can find for BuiltinTypes.ResultTy is a single
store to it. We otherwise just recompute what it should be later on (and
sometimes do things like argument conversions in the process of
recomputing it).

Since it's impossible to test if the value stored there is sane, and we
don't use it anyway, we should probably just drop the field.

I'll do a follow-up patch to rename BuiltinTypes.ParamTypes ->
BuiltinParamTypes in a bit. Wanted to keep this patch relatively
minimal.

Serge Pavlov 79271ab154 Do not inherit default arguments for friend function in class template.
A function declared in a friend declaration may have declarations prior
to the containing class definition. If such declaration defines default
argument, the friend function declaration inherits them. This behavior
causes problems if the class where the friend is declared is a template:
during the class instantiation the friend function looks like if it had
default arguments, so error is triggered.

With this change friend functions declared in class templates do not
inherit default arguments. Actual set of them will be defined at the
point where the containing class is instantiated.

This change fixes PR12724.

Serge Pavlov 673f44c769 Improve diagnostics if friend function redefines file-level function.
Clang makes check for function redefinition after it merged the new
declaration with the existing one. As a result, it produces poor
diagnostics in the case of a friend function defined inline, as in
the code:
```
    void func() {}
    class C { friend void func() {} };
```
Error message in this case states that `inline declaration of 'func'
follows non-inline definition`, which is misleading, as `func` does
not have explicit `inline` specifier.

With this changes compiler reports function redefinition if the new
function is a friend defined inline and it does not have explicit
`inline` specifier.

Serge Pavlov 0c64e27207 Catch invalid bitwise operation on vector of floats
Bitwise complement applied to vector of floats described with
attribute `ext_vector_type` is not diagnosed as error. Attempt to
compile such construct causes assertion violation in Instruction.cpp.
With this change the complement is treated similar to the case of
vector type described with attribute `vector_size`.

Richard Smith cd19815bc2 [c++1z] Support deducing B in noexcept(B).
This is not required by the standard (yet), but there seems to be reasonable
support for this being a defect according to CWG discussion, and libstdc++ 7.1
relies on it working.

Richard Smith e6d4b773de Fix a couple of class template argument deduction crashes with libc++'s tuple.
RecursiveASTVisitor was not properly recursing through a
SubstTemplateTypeParmTypes, resulting in crashes in pack expansion where we
couldn't always find an unexpanded pack within a pack expansion.

We also have an issue where substitution of deduced template arguments for an
implicit deduction guide creates the "impossible" case of naming a
non-dependent member of the current instantiation, but within a specialization
that is actually instantiated from a different (partial/explicit)
specialization of the template. We resolve this by declaring that constructors
that do so can only be used to deduce specializations of the primary template.
I'm running this past CWG to see if people agree this is the right thing to do.

Richard Smith 17c59472e8 Improve error recovery for missing 'template' keyword in contexts where the
template is valid with or without it (with different meanings).

If we see "dependent.x<...", and what follows the '<' is a valid expression,
we must parse the '<' as a comparison rather than a template angle bracket.
When we later come to instantiate, if we find that the LHS of the '<' actually
names an overload set containing function templates, produce a diagnostic
suggesting that the 'template' keyword was missed rather than producing a
mysterious diagnostic saying that the function must be called (and pointing
at what looks to already be a function call!).

Richard Smith 3092d728cd Fix crash when an 'import a module' TypoCorrection has its CorrectionDecls
replaced by visible decls.

functions and static variables, using #pragma directives. 
This feature is only defined to work sensibly for ELF targets.
One can specify section names as:
#pragma clang section bss="myBSS" data="myData" rodata="myRodata" text="myText"
One can "unspecify" a section name with empty string e.g.
#pragma clang section bss="" data="" text="" rodata=""
