This patch mechanically replaces None with std::nullopt where the
compiler would warn if None were deprecated. The intent is to reduce
the amount of manual work required in migrating from Optional to
std::optional.

This is part of an effort to migrate from llvm::Optional to

Random 2edcde00cb [MIPS] Add -mfix4300 flag to enable vr4300 mulmul bugfix pass
Early revisions of the VR4300 have a hardware bug where two consecutive
multiplications can produce an incorrect result in the second multiply.
This revision adds the `-mfix4300` flag to llvm (and clang) which, when
passed, provides a software fix for this issue.

More precise description of the "mulmul" bug:
```
mul.[s,d] fd,fs,ft
mul.[s,d] fd,fs,ft  or  [D]MULT[U] rs,rt
```

When the above sequence is executed by the CPU, if at least one of the
source operands of the first mul instruction happens to be `sNaN`, `0`
or `Infinity`, then the second mul instruction may produce an incorrect
result. This can happen both if the two mul instructions are next to each
other and if the first one is in a delay slot and the second is the first
instruction of the branch target.

Description of the fix:
This fix adds a backend pass to llvm which scans for mul instructions in
each basic block and inserts a nop whenever the following conditions are
met:

 - The current instruction is a single or double-precision floating-point
   mul instruction.
 - The next instruction is either a mul instruction (any kind) or a branch
   instruction.

Nick Desaulniers 3787ee4571 reland [IR] make -stack-alignment= into a module attr
Relands commit 433c8d950c with fixes for
MIPS.

Similar to D102742, specifying the stack alignment via CodegenOpts means
that this flag gets dropped during LTO, unless the command line is
re-specified as a plugin opt. Instead, encode this information as a
module level attribute so that we don't have to expose this llvm
internal flag when linking the Linux kernel with LTO.

Looks like external dependencies might need a fix:

Craig Topper aab90384a3 [Attributes] Add a method to check if an Attribute has AttrKind None. Use instead of hasAttribute(Attribute::None)
There's a special case in hasAttribute for None when pImpl is null. If pImpl is not null we dispatch to pImpl->hasAttribute which will always return false for Attribute::None.

So if we just want to check for None its sufficient to just check that pImpl is null. Which can even be done inline.

This patch adds a helper for that case which I hope will speed up our getSubtargetImpl implementations.

Its effect could be achieved by
`-stop-after`,`-print-after`,`-print-after-all`. But a few tests need to
print MIR after ISel which could not be done with
`-print-after`/`-stop-after` since isel pass does not have commandline name.
That's the reason `--print-machineinstrs` is downgraded to
`--print-after-isel` in this patch. `--print-after-isel` could be
removed after we switch to new pass manager since isel pass would have a
commandline text name to use `print-after` or equivalent switches.

The motivation of this patch is to reduce tests dependency on

Djordje Todorovic 170ac4be33 [CSInfo][ISEL] Call site info generation support for Mips
Debug entry values functionality provides debug information about
call sites and function parameters values at the call entry spot.
Condition for generating this type of information is
compiling with -g option and optimization level higher
than zero(-O0).

In ISEL phase, while lowering call instructions, collect info
about registers that forward arguments into following
function frame. We store such info into MachineFunction of
the caller function. This is used very late, when dumping DWARF
info about call site parameters.

The call site info is visible at MIR level, as callSites attribute
of MachineFunction. Also, when using unmodified parameter value
inside callee it could be described as DW_OP_entry_value expression.
To deal with callSites attribute, we should pass
-emit-call-site-info option to llc.

This patch enables functionality in clang frontend and adds
call site info generation support for MIPS targets
(mips, mipsel, mips64, mips64el).

Tom Stellard 0dbcb36394 CMake: Make most target symbols hidden by default
Summary:
For builds with LLVM_BUILD_LLVM_DYLIB=ON and BUILD_SHARED_LIBS=OFF
this change makes all symbols in the target specific libraries hidden
by default.

A new macro called LLVM_EXTERNAL_VISIBILITY has been added to mark symbols in these
libraries public, which is mainly needed for the definitions of the
LLVMInitialize* functions.

This patch reduces the number of public symbols in libLLVM.so by about
25%. This should improve load times for the dynamic library and also
make abi checker tools, like abidiff require less memory when analyzing
libLLVM.so

One side-effect of this change is that for builds with
LLVM_BUILD_LLVM_DYLIB=ON and LLVM_LINK_LLVM_DYLIB=ON some unittests that
access symbols that are no longer public will need to be statically linked.

This file lists every pass in LLVM, and is included by Pass.h, which is
very popular. Every time we add, remove, or rename a pass in LLVM, it
caused lots of recompilation.

I found this fact by looking at this table, which is sorted by the
number of times a file was changed over the last 100,000 git commits
multiplied by the number of object files that depend on it in the
current checkout:
  recompiles    touches affected_files  header
  342380        95      3604    llvm/include/llvm/ADT/STLExtras.h

  137647        59      2333    llvm/include/llvm/Support/Error.h
  131619        73      1803    llvm/include/llvm/Support/FileSystem.h

Before this change, touching InitializePasses.h would cause 1345 files
to recompile. After this change, touching it only causes 550 compiles in
an incremental rebuild.

Sanjoy Das 26d11ca4b0 (Re-landing) Expose a TargetMachine::getTargetTransformInfo function
Re-land r321234. It had to be reverted because it broke the shared

missing LLVMBuild dependency from lib/Passes (which calls

Sanjoy Das 0c3de350b4 Expose a TargetMachine::getTargetTransformInfo function
Summary:
This makes the TargetMachine interface a bit simpler. We still need
the std::function in TargetIRAnalysis to avoid having to add a
dependency from Analysis to Target.

Simon Dardis 1631d6ce13 [mips] Reorder target specific passes
Move the hazard scheduling pass to after the long branch pass, as the
long branch pass can create forbiddden slot hazards. Rather than complicating
the implementation of the long branch pass to handle forbidden slot hazards,
just reorder the passes.

Matthias Braun 3a9c114b24 TargetMachine: Merge TargetMachine and LLVMTargetMachine
Merge LLVMTargetMachine into TargetMachine.

- There is no in-tree target anymore that just implements TargetMachine
  but not LLVMTargetMachine.
- It should still be possible to stub out all the various functions in
  case a target does not want to use lib/CodeGen
- This simplifies the code and avoids methods ending up in the wrong
  interface.

John Baldwin 1255b165bf [MIPS] Implement support for -mstack-alignment.
Summary:
This is modeled on the implementation for x86 which stores the command line
option in a 'StackAlignOverride' field in MipsSubtarget and then uses this
to compute a 'stackAlignment' value in
MipsSubtarget::initializeSubtargetDependencies.

The stackAlignment() method in MipsSubTarget is renamed to getStackAlignment()
and returns the computed 'stackAlignment'.

Rafael Espindola 79e238afee Delete Default and JITDefault code models
IMHO it is an antipattern to have a enum value that is Default.

At any given piece of code it is not clear if we have to handle
Default or if has already been mapped to a concrete value. In this
case in particular, only the target can do the mapping and it is nice
to make sure it is always done.

This deletes the two default enum values of CodeModel and uses an
explicit Optional<CodeModel> when it is possible that it is
unspecified.

Chandler Carruth 6bda14b313 Sort the remaining #include lines in include/... and lib/....
I did this a long time ago with a janky python script, but now
clang-format has built-in support for this. I fed clang-format every
line with a #include and let it re-sort things according to the precise
LLVM rules for include ordering baked into clang-format these days.

I've reverted a number of files where the results of sorting includes
isn't healthy. Either places where we have legacy code relying on
particular include ordering (where possible, I'll fix these separately)
or where we have particular formatting around #include lines that
I didn't want to disturb in this patch.

This patch is *entirely* mechanical. If you get merge conflicts or
anything, just ignore the changes in this patch and run clang-format
over your #include lines in the files.

Sorry for any noise here, but it is important to keep these things
stable. I was seeing an increasing number of patches with irrelevant
re-ordering of #include lines because clang-format was used. This patch
at least isolates that churn, makes it easy to skip when resolving
conflicts, and gets us to a clean baseline (again).
