Matthias Gehre 3e39b27101 [llvm/CodeGen] Add ExpandLargeDivRem pass
Adds a pass ExpandLargeDivRem to expand div/rem instructions
with more than 128 bits into a loop computing that value.

As discussed on https://reviews.llvm.org/D120327, this approach has the advantage
that it is independent of the runtime library. This also helps the clang driver,
which otherwise would need to understand enough about the runtime library
to know whether to allow _BitInts with more than 128 bits.

Targets are still free to disable this pass and instead provide a faster
implementation in a runtime library.

Djordje Todorovic 73777b4c35 [Debugify] Optimize debugify original mode
Before we start addressing the issue with having
a lot of false positives when using debugify in
the original mode, we have made a few patches that
should speed up the execution of the testing
utility Passes.

For example, when testing a large project
(let's say LLVM project itself), we can face
a lot of potential DI issues. Usually, we use
-verify-each-debuginfo-preserve (that is very
similar to -debugify-each) -- it collects
DI metadata before each Pass, and after the Pass
it checks if the Pass preserved the DI metadata.
However, we can speed up this process, since we
don't need to collect DI metadata before each
Pass -- we could use the DI metadata that are
collected after the previous Pass from
the pipeline as an input for the next Pass.

This patch speeds up the utility for ~2x.

Yuanfang Chen bd3a1de683 [clang-cl] Support the /JMC flag
The introduction and some examples are on this page:
https://devblogs.microsoft.com/cppblog/announcing-jmc-stepping-in-visual-studio/

The `/JMC` flag enables these instrumentations:
- Insert at the beginning of every function immediately after the prologue with
  a call to `void __fastcall __CheckForDebuggerJustMyCode(unsigned char *JMC_flag)`.
The argument for `__CheckForDebuggerJustMyCode` is the address of a boolean
global variable (the global variable is initialized to 1) with the name
convention `__<hash>_<filename>`. All such global variables are placed in
  the `.msvcjmc` section.
- The `<hash>` part of `__<hash>_<filename>` has a one-to-one mapping
with a directory path. MSVC uses some unknown hashing function. Here I
  used DJB.
- Add a dummy/empty COMDAT function `__JustMyCode_Default`.
- Add `/alternatename:__CheckForDebuggerJustMyCode=__JustMyCode_Default` link
option via ".drectve" section. This is to prevent failure in
case `__CheckForDebuggerJustMyCode` is not provided during linking.

Implementation:
All the instrumentations are implemented in an IR codegen pass. The pass is placed immediately before CodeGenPrepare pass. This is to not interfere with mid-end optimizations and make the instrumentation target-independent (I'm still working on an ELF port in a separate patch).

Right now when we see -O# we add the corresponding 'default<O#>' into

the side effect of not using the default AA pipeline.

Instead, treat -O# as -passes='default<O#>', but don't allow any other

`opt -passes='default<O#>` but disallow anything more than just -O#.

Craig Topper d85e347a28 [RISCV] Add a pass to recognize VLS strided loads/store from gather/scatter.
For strided accesses the loop vectorizer seems to prefer creating a
vector induction variable with a start value of the form
<i32 0, i32 1, i32 2, ...>. This value will be incremented each
loop iteration by a splat constant equal to the length of the vector.
Within the loop, arithmetic using splat values will be done on this
vector induction variable to produce indices for a vector GEP.

This pass attempts to dig through the arithmetic back to the phi
to create a new scalar induction variable and a stride. We push
all of the arithmetic out of the loop by folding it into the start,
step, and stride values. Then we create a scalar GEP to use as the
base pointer for a strided load or store using the computed stride.
Loop strength reduce will run after this pass and can do some
cleanups to the scalar GEP and induction variable.

Arthur Eubanks 4c8174f54b [OpaquePtr] Introduce option to force all pointers to be opaque pointers
We don't want to start updating tests to use opaque pointers until we're
close to the opaque pointer transition. However, before the transition
we want to run tests as if pointers are opaque pointers to see if there
are any crashes.

At some point when we have a flag to only create opaque pointers in the
bitcode and textual IR readers, and when we have fixed all places that
try to read a pointee type, this flag will be useless. However, until
then, this can help us find issues more easily.

Since the cl::opt is read into LLVMContext, we need to make sure
LLVMContext is created after cl::ParseCommandLineOptions().

Previously ValueEnumerator would visit the value types of global values
via the pointer type, but with opaque pointers we have to manually visit
the value type.

Original commit:

This patch implements expansion of llvm.vp.* intrinsics
(https://llvm.org/docs/LangRef.html#vector-predication-intrinsics).

VP expansion is required for targets that do not implement VP code
generation. Since expansion is controllable with TTI, targets can switch
on the VP intrinsics they do support in their backend offering a smooth
transition strategy for VP code generation (VE, RISC-V V, ARM SVE,

Abhina Sreeskantharajan 82b3e28e83 [SystemZ][z/OS][Windows] Add new OF_TextWithCRLF flag and use this flag instead of OF_Text
Problem:
On SystemZ we need to open text files in text mode. On Windows, files opened in text mode adds a CRLF '\r\n' which may not be desirable.

Solution:
This patch adds two new flags

  - OF_CRLF which indicates that CRLF translation is used.
  - OF_TextWithCRLF = OF_Text | OF_CRLF indicates that the file is text and uses CRLF translation.

Developers should now use either the OF_Text or OF_TextWithCRLF for text files and OF_None for binary files. If the developer doesn't want carriage returns on Windows, they should use OF_Text, if they do want carriage returns on Windows, they should use OF_TextWithCRLF.

So this is the behaviour per platform with my patch:

z/OS:
OF_None: open in binary mode
OF_Text : open in text mode
OF_TextWithCRLF: open in text mode

Windows:
OF_None: open file with no carriage return
OF_Text: open file with no carriage return
OF_TextWithCRLF: open file with carriage return

The Major change is in llvm/lib/Support/Windows/Path.inc to only set text mode if the OF_CRLF is set.
```
  if (Flags & OF_CRLF)
    CrtOpenFlags |= _O_TEXT;
```

These following files are the ones that still use OF_Text which I left unchanged. I modified all these except raw_ostream.cpp in recent patches so I know these were previously in Binary mode on Windows.

As discussed on the RFC [0], I am sharing the set of patches that

The implementation from the [1] was full of duplicated code,

For example, the utility pass in the original-debuginfo-check

Since this is very initial stage of the implementation,
